Sounds like the court wants to make sure that Jack Smith J 6 evidence is never presented to a court of law. Lot of powerful people in that net. Seriously disappointed in their questions. Some real wtf questions

Trump's not going to get the ruling he wants but what he will get is delay to keep these federal trials from happening before the election.

That’s what happens when one president stacks the court with three justices, and a fourth justice has a wife who worships said president.

In these Trump cases, the court continues to ignore the facts before them to only talk about the hypothetical effects of their potential rulings on a future president.

Maga world wants us to lose faith in our institutions, only in this case not in the way they intended. Hoping they can prove they are more than political hacks in robes, we shall see.

Putin's goal since hillary said his election was corrupt has been to undermine the faith in our institutions.

he has been very succesful with djt as his pied piper

fail to understand how anyone in favor of national security or in the military could support djt

Trump White House aides spill to Jack Smith about their boss' handling of secret docs (msn.com)

One of the key incidents given more context in the report was when Trump shared a picture of a highly classified rocket explosion at an Iranian launch site.

"While much of [Special Counsel Jack] Smith's sprawling classified documents investigation has focused on how Trump handled classified materials after leaving the White House, a wide array of former aides and advisers — including personal valets, press assistants, senior national security officials, and even Trump's briefers from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence — have provided Smith with firsthand accounts about how Trump allegedly handled and used intelligence while still in office," reported Katherine Faulders, Mike Levine, and Alexander Mallin.

"The image was captured by a U.S. satellite whose true capabilities were a tightly guarded secret. But Trump wanted to share it with the world — he thought it was especially 'sexy' because it was marked classified, one of his former advisers later recalled to special counsel Jack Smith's investigators, according to sources familiar with the former adviser's statements," said the report. One source who served as an adviser to the former president said, "It was so upsetting, and people were really angry."

When Smith interviewed former advisers close to Trump, said the report, they "described a president who could erupt in anger when presented with intelligence he didn't want to hear, who routinely reviewed and stored classified information in unsecured locations, and who had what some former officials described as 'a cavalier attitude' toward the damage that could be done by its disclosure, according to sources."

would love to be a fly on the will during deliberations. I can see a scenario in which the votes are there to rule against Trump but Roberts wants unanimity and eventually gets it in some form but Alito and/or Thomas holds out until it’s too late for it to impact the election.

so at one point, Barrett posed several specific questions to djt attorney who acknowledged that the hypothetical actions would not be covered as official acts.

multiple scenarios appeared to mirror charges in Smith indictment.

Could Smith pare back his indictment to only those charges that the djt attorney admitted would be private actions and not covered as an official act and get the appeal dismissed to move on with the charges Barrett quoted?

Similarly, if there is/are dissenting opinions, the writers of those opinions could drag their feet and not finish up until the end of the session this summer guaranteeing the case doesn’t go to trial until well after the election.

Just trying to prevent what Venezuela did to Corina Machado.

    Does this sound familiar?
On 30 June 2023, she was disqualified for fifteen years by the Comptroller General of Venezuela, after a request from the politician José Brito. The comptroller linked her to alleged crimes by Juan Guaidó and accused her of supporting sanctions during the Venezuelan crisis.[7][71][72] Analysts determined that the accusation of having participated in the interim was incoherent, taking into account that she was not a member of the 2015 opposition National Assembly (being prevented by a disqualification from the Comptroller's Office), in addition to never having been appointed in any position in Guaidó's interim government.[73] Organizations like the United Nations, the Organization of American States, and the European Union, as well as countries such as Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Ecuador, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Chile, Canada, and France, rejected the disqualification of Machado.[74][75] The European Union Parliament called the ban "arbitrary and politically fabricated", and the Associated Press stated the banning opposing politicians from elections is a frequent tactic used by the government.[2

Sure doesn't. Trump is being charged after a lengthy investigation by an independent specialist counsel, who had to present his findings to a grand jury for indictment, and then gets to defend himself at trial before a jury with access to the best lawyers in the country. Oh, and he gets to appeal to the Supreme Court, to which he appointed three justices, and one of his trials is before a judge whom he appointed.

So no, doesn't sound familiar at all. Sounds more like Trump is getting a greater benefit of the doubt than maybe any defendant in the history of our country.
