You can attempt to insult all you want be we all know Biden's handlers shut this nation down when Crappy pants (Biden) was in the WH. Trump never shut the nation down like Biden's clown crew did. All part of the plan... And never ending inflation, including skyrocketing food prices, is the result of Biden's actions. He is exactly what you voted for... an abject failure as a leader that you're now trying to defend. $10 QPwC is coming to a city near you real soon.
Said it before and while it's speculation he most likely reads something on a right-wing website, hears a lie from a right-wing commentator or reads something on social media without checking its veracity and then feels compelled to use the falsehood to start a thread. Although originated by a different poster his posts remind of the post several years ago based on a Breitbart story entitled something to the effect "illegal alien arrested for starting deadly wildfire". The only problem with the story was that the guy wasn't an illegal alien but rather a homeless US citizen with an Hispanic surname who was arrested and later released on his own recognizance for starting a small cooking fire in a county park.
Not true. The burger by itself was $10.19 before tax. The upgrade to the fries and coke doesn’t cost $5 more bro. lol they price it that way for a reason.
In my market the sandwich by itself is $6.89 and the combo (with medium fries and medium drink) is $12.79. How much is the sandwich by itself in your market?
So you pay an up charge of $6 to get a medium fry and a medium Coke? GTFO of here, man. Either you’re very confused or haven’t been to either one of these joints in recent weeks. Either way, a $6 up charge to make it a meal with a medium fry and medium Coke is not a legit quote. If you believe that, I’m not sure why $10 for a sandwich by itself seems so outlandish to you. I think you’re a little confused.
I don't buy the combo, it is way too much money for stuff that is bad for me. When we get fast food, it is Wendy's biggie bags. Four of those feed our family of 7.
Which have gone from $4 to $5 and now $6 in my area. I'll say that rather than start multiple threads over expensive fast food, we have just scaled back considerably from anything we think isn't worth the money asked. Too many people complain yet restaurants are still packed.
Good news you poors that can’t afford McDonalds. Even in inflation ridden Florida, Publix has managed to price its ground chuck at $3.99/lb this week. If you want to be all fancy-like and healthier, they have the Greenwise 92% lean beef at the ridiculous low price of $5.99. With this key ingredient, you can probably make about FOUR quarter pound cheeseburgers, feeding the whole family for less than $10 with the added bonus of not eating fake food that will give you a$$ cancer. You are welcome.
Panera Bread I think has raised their avg menu prices from around $8 to $12. 50% inflation OMG. Joe Biden must do something about this.
But you’re telling me they upcharge you $6 for a medium fry and a medium Coke. But $10 for a quarter isn’t believable? You understand the quarter is the centerpiece of the meal right?
You realize they make their money on the soda, right? Even with coke probably trying to maintain if not inflate their own margins, the soda is still the profit center with like 80-90% margins. The whole thing with the value menu was that they’d sell you a “loss leader” burger for $1 or $2 and make margin selling fries and soda, which cost them next to nothing.
I could not have illustrated any better why Joe Biden will lose this election. You’ve done so perfectly. “Poors” says it all.
But you don’t eat there, right? So it’s not like you have any first-hand experience. You’re just making the shit up as you go.
I work with a bunch of guys who don't bat an eye at making any sandwich a combo meal for some ridiculous "only $3.79" or something similar. A small bag of chips and 3 cents of soda. Again, I can afford it but I've stopped buying too many things to count since all of these restaurants have started to try to get a minimize of $10 to $15 plus regardless of whether it's a breakfast sandwich, tacos, burger etc. There used to be tiers of expenses with this kind of food. Now they all seem to cost the same. And the president has nothing to do with it.
Uh oh. Facts… Now, a Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal goes for $11.99 — more than double the $5.39 it cost in 2014, according to a study by FinanceBuzz, which cited average prices nationwide. McDonald's menu prices have increased by over 100% during the last decade: study
I eat there maaybe 5 times a year on average if I’m being generous, usually if I’m on the road and need a quick breakfast I go for the Sausage Egg Cheese McGriddle every time. Can’t recall the last burger I had there to be honest. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If I want a burger and have to eat out there’s so many options, it’s sort of hard to fathom McDonalds. Same deal for Taco Bell. I don’t get it. Esp if the fast food joints are charging nearly “fast casual” prices. Apparently the avg McDonalds customer eats there 44 times a year. That seems like madness to me. Maybe for $10 they should explore other options. That’s how free markets work.
