So your defense of Trump is saying China, not Trump, was overseeing and controlling his CDC, his FAA, his funded American vaccine development, and whatever else, right under Trump’s nose, and he was such a shitty president he either didn’t notice or played along? While I think you live in a fantasy world, if you really believe what you are writing here, and still want to vote for Trump, then you need your head examined.

It wasn't a defense of Trump. It's the one indictment of Trump that's warranted.

His defense is that he'd been steam rolled if he tried to stop it.

But he signed off on it, and I expressed my objections at the time.

Problem is, hardly anyone resisted the spending orgy.

I’ll give plenty of fault to Biden for continuing the COVID performance art long after many states had successfully demonstrated it wasn’t necessary, but this attempt to pretend the Trump administration didn’t do any of the COVID things it very definitely did is absurd.

Yes most of the shutdown orders were nominally state orders, but you can go find plenty of pictures of Trump himself at White House “14 days to stop the spread” events (and those “14 days” somehow managed to drag on for months). And to make this Florida-specific, we got closure orders because Trump called DeSantis complaining about why beaches were still open and all over the news.

Trump got into fairly public spats with both DeSantis and Kemp about why Florida and Georgia weren’t closed and demanded they close their states. This new alternative history of pretending that Trump tried to keep everything open but got screwed by a bunch of state and local governments has no basis whatsoever in reality.

Be careful you will be labeled as a RINO. You are only allowed to defend Trump regardless of his actions

At the time, it barely moved the needle because Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach already had lockdown orders of their own. And 30 days with a virus that is relatively unknown is a lot different than 2+ years with plenty of time to see the lockdowns were shit.

Trump was duped by his own people, yes, he bears some responsibility... And he is NOT completely without blame for letting it even start. But Biden came up with the destructive mandates.

I’m not sure why you’re hellbent on the idea I was lying when the data clearly show there are plenty of areas in the country the quarter pounder flirts with the $10 mark. I suppose when it's your purpose to 'carry the water' of an 81 year old career plagiarizing liar, a thread like this would really bother you. To most, it’s just another in the long line of threads noting how out of control food prices have become under Joe Biden. Notice you are one of the very few who are actually trying to defend his sorry ass on this topic.

Except the U.S. wasn’t “locked down” for 2+ years, and even in retrospect the initial “lockdown” was exactly what you do when a novel virus is spreading. The govt didn’t even have to do anything to “order” lockdowns, the natural reaction of everyone who isn’t a moron is to try and minimize exposure to an unknown virus (at least one that was killing in decent numbers).

Obviously a society cannot function while “locked down”, so to some extent even 3 months was a huge ask - very few parts of the country were locked down even that 3 months, let alone 2 years. In reality we were “locked down” for only a few weeks. China attempted a crazy “zero tolerance” policy and we see how well that worked for them. The U.S. mostly struck a balance with Covid, not even the most restrictive state was “locked down” even if some of the stuff they did wasn’t smart in retrospect (closing local shops and funneling people to wal-mart was obviously dumb and ineffective).

So what we’re dealing with … after dropping for years, birth rates edged up slightly under Biden. And your claim is that Biden caused birth rates to plummet by sterilizing so many children? this is really what you and other conservatives have to resort to in order to criticize Biden?

So Trump was duped but the blathering senile fool that can’t even create his own work is fully responsible for coming up with and enforced harmful Covid mandates? Your comedy routine is at the Babylon Bee level.

This is what happens when you spew bs narratives, they eventually begin to clash. One minute Trump is a genius who is the master of manipulating other world leaders into doing what he wants, the next minute he’s a poor, bumbling, stumbling cretin who was duped by his own low IQ staff members. Just an abundance of unseriousness.

Not to be a stickler but so far out of 76 different prices posted in links there were zero over $10 and the average is $6. Not sure what you gain by lying in all these threads but there isnt much to debate when you start out with an easily disproven lie. Next time try some half truth.

If Biden is sterilizing children...how would that affect the birthrate NOW...TODAY?

    Total BS.

More like zero places it is $10, and 100% places it is not $10. Why do people lie about things that are so easy to prove false?

Different area of town. No tourist attractions within 10 miles. $12+ for a single whopper, some fries and a coke. Some of you might actually try getting in your car and going to your local McD or BK. You will see there is no embellishment here.

Yep, when you buy a combo, the price goes up. The sandwich by itself is half the price, adding all the cheap calories is expensive. (in both money and health)
