I would bet that O&B probably disagrees with a good chunk of what I post here, but I rarely get negative reviews. I would assume much of the consternation is not in what’s posted, but how. Not only for him but others as well. Jmo.
I’ll take it another step from here. I’d say I learn a lot from you and @GatorRade posts. I like the way you guys think even though I don’t always agree.
Honestly, because to me it’s lazy. If I disagree with someone I should be able to articulate why and respond accordingly. I generally only do it on truly over the top or troll posts. But to each their own. Often times when I see obvious troll attempts I just ignore it anyway, because feeding them gives them fuel for more. If they don’t get the attention they crave it stops eventually. Or in extreme cases they go on ignore if they aren’t here for actual discussion. I have three regulars here on ignore now I think, 2 right and one left.
Rade does a much better job than me iand just about everyone here in staying out of the true political sewer side of this place. That alone puts him in his own category .
You've given out 54 negative reviews. I've given out 50 in the same amount of time. We are one and the same, however I have nobody on ignore. I just have Mr. Miyagi-like self control and 9/10 times scroll right past their posts.
I had a beer with Rade and let me tell you, he's a giant asshole in person. He hides it well on the forum.
And I will say, that anyone willing to accept and truly consider info from those they aren’t politically lined up with here is a rarity. That’s a great quality. Something I could definitely do better at sometimes too.
