In this transfer portal era, many players will be bouncing from school to school several times. The end goal for most of them is the NFL.
Granted, it's limited reps, but what I saw from his ASu plays, Rashada isn't NFL material. Has the athletic tools, but can't read a D. Can't go through progressions, and only looks to run when the pocket breaks down. Should've redshirted last year, but ASu had nobody else near as athletic playing QB on the roster last year. Itv was a former walk-on and Notre Dame transfer Pyne, who average athlete. Rashada needs a lot of coaching. If he wants to play this year, or ends up at UGA and is forced into action, I don't think it ends well.
Off topic, but has there been a situation where a kid has entered the transfer portal, couldn't find a home (no school offered him) and his spot at his original school has been filled by a recruit/transfer? What options do these kids have then? I'm just curious if a bunch of kids are making bad decisions and end up with no school to play for the following season.
If he comes to UGA it’ll be as 3rd string best. Beck - Gunner Stockton - Rashada (if not Ryan Puglisi, who Bobo and Smart really like). Not much of a chance he’d see the field this year.
He is 185lb and got man handled playing an ASU schedule, and only managed to play in 3 games due to injuries. Now he want to play big boy football? Good luck! He's got someone in his ear feeding him some BS.
For the top 300 kids this is the absolute reality but there’s a few thousand others that it doesn’t really apply to
he needs to find another Arizona State for a big payday and an opportunity to start. His last name isn't Manning
Say it ain't so if he goes to Georgia. We want them to have as many rb who won't block and qb who won't go through progressions as they possibly can have.
