Again, anyone who has taken a basic course in statistics knows that you take a sampling of "major cities" and limit it a few years (COVID then and now) and you can come up w/ almost anything....as AXIOS did in this creative writing example. I'm wary of statistics - and giving too much credit and or blame in the ensuing - that use a very small sample size (in this case, time).
