How are you defining mass shooting?

 

You appear to be all over the place on this, while refusing to answer a some reasonably simple questions.

 

Okay, so if the shooters are on drugs it isn't a mass shooting? Shootings in a parking lot can't be mass shootings? Seriously, at this point, it should be fairly obvious to you that you either can't or won't answer the question as to what is a mass shooting utilizing specific criteria.

 

All I am asking for is a defined rule of what a mass shooting is and isn't. It isn't a gotcha question.

But either way, your initial claim was that it was a high percentage of trans people committing these crimes. Feel free to utilize any criteria that you wish (while showing the criteria) and show what the percentage is.

 

A lot of your ilk concern troll over Chicago gun crimes or gang violence, but now your argument is “doesn’t count, it’s something different”.

Not sure why you are so focused on this distinction, a mass shooting literally just means “x” number of people being shot in one incident. That’s probably the least misleading way to look at a gun violence problem. What you are trying to isolate, is the planned attack. The lone wolf. But even that can be further bifurcated into political/religious terrorism vs. “mental illness” (and i guess in your fantasy land you now think trans shooters are a thing). The sheep will respond with their T&P’s and talking points accordingly. I don’t think the innocent bystanders of any of these care about such distinctions.

 

This is why the number "150 mass shootings" seems wrong. How 'bout we do this:
If the event makes the Today Show, Good Morning America or the CBS Morning Show, or any of the 3 major networks evening news half - hour, then it's a mass shooting. Can be combined with school shooting depending.

Given that criteria, I bet there hasn't been anywhere near 150 so far this year.

3 or more victims: mass shooting? or does it not count until there are at least 25? ( if we raise that bar high enough we can reduce the number of mass shootings per year to less than a handful).
