We need to teach the controversy, and I will personally volunteer to author the "evils of capitalism" curriculum. Living in America and just seeing how people live will be education enough for many of these kids, even more so if they have to live it themselves. But perhaps this is their attempt at balance, sure capitalism sucks, but look at this stuff that happened 100 years ago!

Exactly. Why not teach the evils of capitalism? Or the evils of anything you want? If I were the teacher, I’d focus on the historic tendency of communist leaders to use state institutions to push their favored narratives and cite this very law as a possible example.
