Jeez, you know a team is in trouble when there is no established weekend rotation nearly 40 games into the season. I guess a team ERA of 6.57 is also a tell.

Spot on post. I’m guessing to go along with the lack of an established weekend rotation we need to include the lack of any true team leadership from this team roster. Damn that swallows hard……

 

A team lacking leadership, yes, hitting the nail squarely on the head.
If there’s no leadership at the top it’s rare to find it within.

What would that look like to you?
Me: 3 innings and 2 or fewer runs would be great. Hard to expect more than that.

 

That sounds about right. I'm sure he's still on a pitche count, maybe a few more than last week.

 

I'm hoping for 2 innings or more, generally hitting spots, 0 HR, and more K than BB+HBP for PC. (In one game, it's hard to get much of a read from hits/runs vs. outs on balls in play.)
