Every time I see UF @ Vandy one of the things I remember is the game in 2005 where they actually pitched to Matt LaPorta. He acknowledged his appreciation by hitting that tremendous HR out of the park to LF. Oh, did I mention that not only did it leave the ballpark, it landed on the roof of the building behind the ballpark?….the Whistler wasn’t whistling…..
Someone wanted to know about Gator players hit-by-pitch. Through the Jacksonville game on April 16: 14 Gator players have been hit by a pitch. 76 hits in total. Kurland leads the count with 12, Heyman 11, Shelton 9. The one regular player to be hit the least is Robertson with only one. Subs Yost and Wilson one each. Albert and Guy hit five times each.
TIME CHANGE Thursday’s series opener at Vanderbilt has been moved up to 5 p.m. CT/6 p.m. ET due to expected inclement weather. Game one will now air on SEC Network.
This is me . Get Neely back in the pen . We are 1-5 since his insert to the weekend. Is Peterson hurt? If not he is my Friday guy Copella on Saturday
And great news for some of us - with the game moving to 6 pm, it should be over by the time the gymnastics (not volleyball ) meet starts at 9 pm.
I guess aTm- Bama just gets pushed aside?? lol Not that I or anyone cares. All on app anyways, which is much better picture than network tv,,at least via DTV.. But why not just put UF-Van on app ?? weird.
