I think we know the answer, and, clearly, it will NOT be in the Gators best interest. So, here's hoping otherwise!

What would it mean if the Gators were undefeated going into Jax? That Kirby Smart will have the Dawgs in rare form to say the least.

Speaking only for me, with all the negativity that permeates the program (I’m no angel there), I think the frequent positive and happy posts by doctorg8r are welcome and refreshing. Imagine the tenor here without someone totally positive all the time.

No I don’t…and I get that the fanbase can be obnoxious. Just based on what I’ve seen from their spring, they are a bit behind.

Actually, Gator Nation is hoping for at least a seven win season. Steve Spurrier has predicted 8-4. To achieve eight wins will be quite the turnaround! It is achievable, although I believe fans are going to have to really get behind this young team!!! And, somewhat of a miracle will have to occur, as starters will need to avoid injury, or have other players step up. That we are discussing whether the Gators win the first seven games, it doesn't look so easy, eh? And, yet, some of the brightest people think BN has to pull off a miracle or leave! Some are wondering why I am posting so many items for discussion? It's because I LOVE GATOR FOOTBALL, and I thoroughly enjoy hearing from Gator fans! GO GATORS!!!

What if we just wait for the games to be played and see what happens?

Nevermind, let’s start 800,000 threads about every single thought that bounces around inside my empty head.

The thought of having to bear a year, or even two, or more, of those self-entitled, dim-witted, predominately uneducated, boisterous, deluded imbeciles screaming every day of their “superiority” is ashamedly something that instills real fear. It must never be allowed to happen.

Post away big guy. You are keeping the off season discussion going. Thanks

I am one of those Gator fans hoping for 7 wins. But after the last two seasons, I'm not getting overly excited until I see progress on the field and in the win column. Just want one win at a time and 7 or better over the season.

Thanks, and I just want to see the Gators hanging half-a-hundred on opponents! Seriously doubt that happens this year, but I definitely want to see more wins than losses! I can only imagine what recruiting will then be like!!!

Don't believe DJ is a must-play to win any of our first 7. BN needs to use all the talent and skill we have available. AND, as you said, Defense has to play well. A fair number of Napier's plays are mediocre. It would be nice if occasionally, the end around that provides so much valuable information for our QB gets the ball, or has a meaningful assignment after the snap, that does not include blocking a DE. If our staff plans, are organized, communication and decision making during games is on point, we should be able to win our first 7. Will we? Probably not. Hoping we win 5 of the first 7 anyway.

It would mean we had a chance to be the best football team in the history of college football.

    Our 2024 football schedule:

    1. MIAMI ... win

    2. SAMFORD ...win

    3. TEXAS A&M ... win. But tough game AT HOME.

    4. Mississippi State ... win. Hard win away, but a doable win.

    5. UCF ... win

    6. Tennessee ... win. Hard game but the Gator's own the vols.

    7. KENTUCKY ... win. Time to right the ship, and learn to stop the run first.

    8. UGA ... Here is where the rubber meets the road.

    9. Texas ... Another tough game on the road.

    10. LSU ... This will test our desire to keep our team undefeated at home.

    11. OLE MISS ... This team is full of battle tested mercenaries from other schools... will be a crazy hard game, even at home, with their Heisman candidate QB leading them land sharks.

    12. fsu ... Not buying the upswing of lucky wins, they lost their QB and it's never a plug and play position.

The UGA and the Texas games will be the hardest for obvious reasons, but a neutral site game, and an away game respectively will be hard to win... Texas will not be easy to beat in Texas.

I feel the same way Spurrier feels... 8-4 is a doable record...
