I don't disagree that the graphics are horrific, but have you seen any of the footage from 10/7? And I might add that the people of Gaza elected Hamas to be their leaders. Very unfortunate and terrible situation but I don't think unless Hamas is eradicated, we will be seeing all this play out again in a few years.

It’s all going to play out again in a few years guaranteed. Whether Hamas is “eradicated” or not. The next generation of extremist/terrorist has been born.

Hadn't seen any posts from lousiana in a while...

Either he just completed a ban timeframe, or he got back last night from another trip to defend the border from the brown men coming here to steal all the white women that would otherwise totally date him.

Do you think Gaza is a democratic state and they really voted Hamas to be their leaders?? I don't. 10/7 was horrific, and Israel is partly to blame for the extent of carnage by not reacting fast enough and coming to the aid of those citizens. It is unfortunate that hamas can hide among innocent people. You'd think Israel could be elite enough to find the heads of the hamas group and take them out, rendering the fighters rudderless. I don't know, there just has to be a better way than bombing indiscriminately.
Even if they find every single hamas "fighter", which is impossible, they have radicalized young people there who will want to extract revenge on Israel. It's a never ending cycle.

Hamas was elected in 2006. Anyone under the age of 35 in Gaza had zero to do with electing Hamas. And that’s the vast majority of people in Gaza.

I doubt there will be anything significant if at all.

I will stay away if possible.

One thing I do know is I’m armed damn well and will defend me and my family from anyone who tries to hurt us. I don’t believe in taking prisoners either.

Conveniently ignore that Florida is the 3rd most populous state and has on average a far older population than California and New York, and we all know Covid had by far the biggest impact on the elderly. Considering those factors I would say Florida did quite well without having to shut down society and curtail freedoms.

The latest dates I could find was middle of 2023 but it had California at just over 102,000 Covid deaths and Florida right around 90,000 Covid deaths.

The difference in the amount of deaths wasn't that great even with all the lockdowns. Almost everyone in the medical and science fields now agree the lockdowns didn't really do much good. All it did was prolong the pandemic. Covid was always going to wait out any lockdown.

Considering those of us here in Florida got to keep our freedoms and California was locked down for almost 2 years, I'll take the Florida approach to Covid any day.

I was on the beach in May 2020. I had a cookout with friends and family on Memorial Day weekend in 2020. I was able to travel up to North Carolina in May 2020 for a trip. I even traveled in Florida in April 2020. I was able to eat inside again in May 2020 in Florida. I was able to workout again in June 2020 in Florida without having to wear a mask except when entering and exiting (which was stupid but oh well). All of these things are things no one in California could even have dreamed of doing at that time.

So then what's your solution? Should Israel just lets itself be slaughtered? Because that's what Hamas wants to do. Should Jewish people have to go through another Holocaust?

So many of your side forget that it was Hamas, not Israel, who started this. If it wasn't for Hamas most of Gaza wouldn't be destroyed currently.

Israel has been far more lenient that I would be. I think Israel should make Gaza and the entire west bank nothing more than a parking lot.

Would it be horrific? Absolutely. But I don't feel that sorry for them. The people of Gaza largely sealed their fate in my eyes when they sided and elected Hamas to represent them. I agree that nothing less than utterly destroying Hamas and Gaza will make Israel safe. That's why they need to rip the band aid off. Utterly bring Gaza to rubble with absolutely nothing left, not even a single building or even a single bush or tree. And

If Trump wins, there will be more people leaving the country than rioting. I say that because I know damn well that I would leave if I was young and had the means. About the only thing I'll be able to do if Trump wins is leave this forum, to avoid being jailed in the national wave of promised retribution against any and all who blaspheme against the orange god from Mount Mar-a-Lago. Those who stay here better damn well watch what you say.

Most of Gaza openly sides with Hamas so no sympathy from me. You side with terrorists, you're going to suffer the fate that all terrorists eventually suffer.

Oh yes because that happened for 4 years when Trump was President right? You all always act like Trump’s Presidency was an utter dictatorship and yet were you jailed for your speech then?

As for moving out I say good. I would vote for Trump just for that. The U.S. will be stronger without people like you. Of course we all know it’s just false words. You’re not going anywhere. Just like none of the Democrats went anywhere after 2016 when Trump won.

The U.S., especially Florida, is overpopulated anyway. Some population decline would be a good thing.

Tell you what. If you leave after Trump wins I’ll give you $1,000, buy you a one way plane ticket to anywhere in the world and help you pack up. My only condition is you give your passport to me at the gate so I can turn it in and you just can’t immediately come back.

It wasn't the elderly that just died from COVID. You'd guess wrong.

Those little Palestinian boys and girls will be trained to be terrorists in a few short years. They’ll never know anything but fighting and suffering anyway. As sad as it is we would be doing them a favor.
