I would be surprised if UK doesn't make the field. Pope will rebuild the roster in a hurry, probably not to the extent of being a high seed, but making the tournament.
Shows how ridiculous and attention-driven Lunardi is, IMO. A "last team in" and a "first team out" and a completed/seeded 64 team brackets 2-WEEKS after the season ends and before the transfer portal moving is even finished?!?!
True. But in the grand scheme of things, college basketball is changing FAST. After NC State's run I can see them peeling off some recruits that would have previously gone to UNC or Dook. I think that is happening all over CB...maybe.
Correct....Kentucky back in the latest Bracketology as an 8-seed.. We remain at #6. Men's Bracketology: Old guys rule -- Kansas becomes new No. 1 overall seed
Actually... I had predicted that Mark Pope would do a good job of rebuilding the UK roster quickly but he's even outstripping my prediction. He's bringing in some top-shelf guys, and I now think they'll be a top-5 seed.
SEC is projected to get 10 bids: Top SEC-Seeds: #2 Alabama #3 Auburn #4 Tennessee #4 Texas #5 Texas AM #6 Florida #7 Ole Miss #8 Kentucky #9 Mississippi St #10 Arkansas --------------------------- Missouri (1st 4 out) Vanderbilt (next 4 out) Out: South Carolina, Georgia, LSU & Oklahoma! In the 2024 SEC Tournament, Florida had defeated both Alabama & Texas AM so I like the Gators' chances of climbing up even higher next year. UF should be a much improved defensive team and could still be a potent offensive team.
