People keep posting rumors on Andy Jean but I don’t see it happening. Also read that Kelby Collins not so thrilled with move from SDE to playing inside. Not sure if true but something like that could make a player consider the portal. I would hate to lose him. Other than those two, haven’t heard any names that would be an issue though of course, no one is calling me and providing me names so what do I know? Nothing. if a 4th year or even third year player or older who has yet to garner/earn any playing time…kind of understand those moves.
I still think for most, its about maximizing NIL $ now. If the rumors are true, IMO Jean and Collins aren't yet established as elite players and both will be getting plenty of PT here. Seems a bit risky to jump at this point with only fall practice to displace any starters at other big programs unless they are willing to step down a notch. Then again, if they aren't happy at UF, then I could understand that. Look at ETN, he took the $$ and went from guaranteed PT here to possibly third string. Their new NIL deals may get them on the team, but they still have to earn the starting position.
Kelby Collins has been a rock for Florida character wise. I'd hate to hear about any real discontent from him. If he in fact left I would probably tune out altogether until the season actually starts
USC OL Jonathan Zandamela is looking to transfer back the this side of the country. I wonder if we're in on him?
Kelby collins is really good with moving inside. Just heard an interview. He was happy to do it. No smoke there. Nunnery is gonna get buried after Shemar, Pup, Wingo, Graham, Chiles etc. Would like him for depth but he’s not a baller
Me too. These guys will be key cogs to this team. If the only reason to go somewhere else is to get more money, then I'm done. I'll just go back to watching NFL games.
Hope we keep all the good talented guys and simply shed the players that need to play somewhere else.
This might sound bad but Webb or Jackson?? I like them but those two dudes we brought in this year are gonna be studsssssssss
