There is no reason to ever believe anything Trump or Fox has any truthfulness. No other "news" org has had to pay out $787M for defamation for election lies like they have.

I am opposed to the corporate tax increase but must note that you cannot stack the state rate on top of the federal rate in determining the effective total rate. Unless the law is changed, state income taxes paid by corporations are deductible for federal income tax purposes, thereby reducing the actual net impact of state income taxes.

One change that should be considered is a surcharge on the profits/distributions of pass through entities to corporations and individuals that exceed a certain amount.

 

OP, last time I checked your political hero was cutting taxes and raising deficit spending at the same time. For several years. BEFORE Covid.

I guess he just wanted to get something for nothing. Let someone ELSE pay the bills, but consume. To me that is called WELFARE. But at least Biden wants people to pay their own bills.

I do think that's important to remember. I don't know if Biden's tax goals are good in the long term or not. But it seems the Republican approach is to keep cutting taxes on the wealthy while complaining about the deficit. That doesn't make sense, does it?
