I read as much as I can and I have not really seen anything that peaks my interest as far as any moving parts with our recruiting.
This would make sense. Still young and had 4 sacks in 14 games at a position of need. BREAKING: Miami EDGE Nyjalik Kelly plans to enter the Transfer Portal, he tells @on3sports The 6’6 260 EDGE totaled 19 Tackles, 4 Sacks, and 1 PD in his 2 years with the Hurricanes Was ranked as a Top 95 Recruit in ‘22 (per On3) https://on3.com/db/nyjalik-kelly-94041/ 10:14 AM · Apr 9, 2024
How many snaps did he play in those 14 games? Those are some pretty pedestrian #'s against some pretty pedestrian competition if he was a starter.
I have no idea about the story behind this guy, but using stats from his first two years out of HS won't really tell you much. Only absolutely elite 5*s would be expected to be very productive on the LOS that early. I think talented developmental guys would be expected to start putting up numbers in their 3rd year. He could make that third year jump or be a bust. No idea. As a recent point of reference, those numbers are nearly an exact match for Princely's first two seasons out of HS.
Let’s see if the top dogs snatch him up immediately or he has to find someone willing to take him on. I’d bet staffs know exactly why he’s available.
until couch is no longer the game changing coordinator, it doesn’t appear so. (Even though we hired someone over Couch he still is involved). It is apparently a staple of the Couch special teams. A player actually ran off the field to create the 10 player debacle.
Some Gator hater in TheRant named TheCaw, and talks about himself in the third person, posted that pic. What a putz... But yeah, here we go again with the special teams being "special" again. That coach, and those players, have ONE FREAKING JOB TO DO, AND THEY CAN'T EVEN DO IT.
I’m just gonna say this, Michigan had 9 people on the FG block team during the Big10 Championship….it’s not like it’s an isolated situation, it happens everywhere and more often than some want to admit. Haters of the staff just like to keep it under the microscope.
First off, I don't hate this staff. Secondly... I was pointing out something that also happened SEVERAL TIMES last year. We need to address this once and for all, fix it, and get past it.
