You are making zero sense in this thread. Printing money! That is a low information response from fake Facebook posters. Nice one. Printing money. Printing money. Give me a break.
Your linked article said nothing about income levels, just credit scores. Did you not even read your own article, or is your reading comprehension just that bad? Well, bless you for trying at least, even if you failed. But good try. Swing and a miss!
Go back to your crossword with CNN on in the background. You’re definitely not paying attention to this posters history.
They think anyone who didn't vote for Biden(but didn't vote for Trump in 16 or 20) is far right. It's the problem honestly with the left and the right now. The left and the right moved to the edges and some are too ignorant to notice unfortunately. Look at TooHot. We have some posters on here thinking they only lean "slightly" left LOL. It's quite comical. We definitely have a few that say they aren't far right as well but the lefties seem to outnumber the right on here by a good bit. And the people in the middle seem smaller and smaller. I mean I see a lot of posters(myself included) who will under no circumstances ever cast a vote for trump. Don't see hardly any that voted for biden before saying they won't vote for him in 24(i'm sure there is an outlier or 2).
That you think Biden and Trump are equally bad says it all. If the Dems nominated someone who tried to overthrow our Democracy and who was indicted for multiple crimes, I wouldn't vote for him either. Easy call.
You are voting for someone who is senile. It's ok. That's your choice. I'm happy to not vote for either.
25% of those jobs are part-time government jobs paid by the American taxpayer. Biden Administration Job Growth Numbers Are Subsidized By Record Numbers Of Government Jobs — 25% of New Jobs Are In Government How many of those jobs are going to illegals? What will the numbers really be after they audit them? Take last June as an extreme example. The government initially said a robust 209,000 new jobs were created before marking its final estimate down to a tepid 105,000 two months later.
Government jobs are usually good jobs with fair wages and great benefits, so glad to see more government hiring. But you do you, cross your fingers and pray to your orange deity that the economy is secretly bad... Also, not seeing where it says anything about the jobs being "part time", either.
If you did into the numbers, what is actually happening isn't too difficult to figure out. First and foremost, America is getting older. There are more people in the US 65 or older today than ever before. And that population keeps growing. Second, the percentage of the senior population that are still working is also on the rise. More seniors, plus more seniors working is a big part of the rise in jobs. Especially part time jobs where Seniors can work from home, which was growing when this article was written in 2021, and has only expanded since then. While there are certainly some seniors working because they need to, there are many because they enjoy it, and WFH, part time, keeps their brains active. And gives them extra spending money. My father makes enough from fixed income to pay the bills, but uses his part time job to travel and spoil his grandchildren, and soon-to-be first great grandchild. And yes, some of these jobs are being filled by undocumented immigrants. But what's the issue there? What's better? An undocumented immigrant filling the job? Or the job going unfilled? With unemployment at 3.8%, and more jobs open than people unemployed, it's not like citizens are clamoring to fill the non-farm jobs immigrants normally do.
I'm sure some on here will blame this on the labor market as well... https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/11/why...skyrocketing-leading-to-higher-inflation.html Skyrocketing auto insurance costs helped contribute to inflation accelerating at a faster-than-expected pace in March and are adding to the ever more expensive costs for U.S. vehicle owners. On a monthly basis, car insurance prices as part of the consumer price index rose by an unadjusted 2.7%, while the year-over-year increased by 22.2%, according to data released Wednesday. The index is a key inflation gauge and a broad measure of the cost of goods and services across the economy.
Well, it's either the fault of the labor market or Joe Biden, right? After all, the President has long been known to control the cost of auto insurance. Joe Biden, in fact, got into office and immediately punched his "auto insurance higher" button. He switched the "auto insurance price" lever from "stable" to "up." He is really really bad, when it comes to auto insurance. Because there has long been a problem with auto insurance (well, since '21 anyways) that can only be solved through the attention of the President. ^That's what you're implying right? One might ask why you even post this drivel, except we know by know; Biden really really bad!!!
Actually, if you do a little research, the labor market has had an effect on car insurance rates! In addition to cars becoming more expensive, especially used cars in the recent years, which drives up the costs of repairs and totaled vehicles, there are also less auto mechanics out there. This means higher repair costs and times. And longer repair times mean insurance companies paying longer for rentals, which a cost the insurance companies pass to the consumer. A shortage of mechanics around the U.S. also means it's taking longer to fix vehicles — that raises how much insurance companies have to spend covering the cost of rental cars for customers while their cars are in the shop. Climate change is playing a role as well, with more vehicles damaged by extreme weather, leading to more claims and, in turn, higher premiums. If you actually try to understand something, instead of just make silly assumptions, or have zero intellectual curiosity, you can learn things too. Like, why the tight labor market is actually effecting auto insurance rates!
And yet we still added 3 million jobs in 2023, which is well more than we added in any single year under Trump.
