Of course you do. You're as predictable as they come.

That’s what you took away from the video? FFS.

LOL. The "typical lawyer trick" was confronting you with your exact quote. A lawyer trick that is frequently very useful for exposing the witness to be exactly what he is.

She gave him more respect than he earned by planting evidence in his car. Very respectful thing to do. ;)

What if you let out a REALLY bad fart right when they pull you over?

The fart odor will likely dissipate before the weed smell does, so you'll likely have to emit a steady stream to avoid detection. Please note this strategy will not fool a narco sniff dog.

You’re right these cops could fabricate evidence against everybody. It’s jumping to conclusions that they were racially motivated.

Yup, I challenge anybody to find one thing in all that video that indicates this incident was racially motivated yet every article you can find mentions either the race of the driver or the race of the cops. It is sickening what the media tries to do with stories these days.

I can show you something in that video that caused those articles to be written. Without it, there are no articles & this thread does not exist. As is typically of you, you side with BIG GOV almost reflexively.

So your theory is that these cops are just lying scumbags without any other motivation. Does that make it better or worse?

Watch the video, the police are unbelievably calm, meanwhile the driver is acting like an ass. You can't convince me for one second that Mr Riley does not know his drivers license is suspended. Oh what percentage of drunk drivers answer that they have only had a couple of beers? I think that is the answer most people give when it is obvious you have been drinking but you don't want to admit it. When is the last time you drove at night with your headlights off and didn't notice it? It was pointed out to him that they were off and she still had to show him. I'm sorry but if a cop tells me he/she smells marijuana in the car I'm going to tell him he is wrong, not fly off the handle calling him a liar.

So their calmness means they are used to fabricating evidence against people? Why should a cop saying they smell pot be justification for a search when they have been shown to habitually lie to do searches.

I get it you have never had a cop abuse you. I have and I am an old white guy. Can you imagine being a person of color? Where being pulled over could mean you are going to get shot and people like you might be on the jury that lets the killer cops go free.

I guess how I should have worded it was when you have been drinking but don't want to admit you are drunk you answer I had a couple of beers, usually followed by a couple of hours ago or one might say oh I had a couple of glasses of wine with dinner. I'm pretty sure you knew what I meant.

Of course the cops are calm, silly, they just activated their BWCs and they know they are being recorded....they are doing the recording.

Candidly, no one cares what you are convinced of, but had you watched the trial video, you would have seen there was a discrepancy as to where DHSMV-DDL sent the suspension notice to. You don't even know what the suspension is for, but you've already decided he knew about, a typical assumption for some groups.

He had his DRLs on. The cop pointed out he had activated that automatic feature instead of automatic headlights.

The odor of marijuana is a frequent basis to justify warrantless searches, particularly so because the cops can get away with lying about it. I'm not saying they all are lying, but that it is easy to lie about. Curious, though, that there was zero evidence of marijuana smoking in the car...no seeds, shake, papers, pipes, blunts or roaches. The male supervisor who arrived didn't mention it. Also, had they actually believed he had been smoking, they would have requested a urine test. All I heard were requests for the breath test, and a breath test machine doesn't detect marijuana use.

    Otherwise, solid post.
