Sounds like complete nonsense to me. He was the heir apparent to Tebow, and everyone knew it.

There are also the small matters of cheating, with proceedings related thereto pending, and the stolen laptop.

Sounds like you also don't realize that UF couldn't--and can't-- comment on these matters so Cam is taking full advantage of that fact to spin a tall tale.

 

Rewatch then. He threw plenty of shade Urban's way and totally downplayed/ignored his issues at UF.

 

Cam is a flake, but I don’t think he actually got tossed from UF. He might have been (doubtful for a star athlete), but he left before the culmination of whatever proceedings were going on against him. I have no doubt he was in Urbs doghouse. UM wasn’t known for his warm and cuddly persona.

Doesn't it strike you as a bit curious that Cam never once denied the allegations against him, nor did he ever previously state that he left because of a lack of playing time? Sure seems odd to me.

He was going to get plenty of playing time with Tim leaving. Not to mention the portal didn't exist then, and players didn't bounce from team to team like they do now.

 

My recollection is that while at UF he wasn’t any better landing a stolen laptop in a nearby dumpster (out a window) than he was landing a football in a receiver’s hands.

 

siap but my understanding is that he was going to be suspended for cheating and he chose to leave.
