Then why do it. Lets save some cash and cut the army in half. Maybe we could re-purpose the new football facility for the Hiper Gator program. We could probably recruit some kick-ass Engineers with that facility.

We e been working from behind for a long time and it takes time to catch up. We are finally getting there with infrastructure that started under sharkman. Looks like nil through a wrench in now making it the Wild West. Money has always ruled but now eve is playing and the stakes are high with no rule. The highest bidders take the players and coaches are powerless in these decisions. It sucks there are really no rules.
We are right there with Miami and fsu in football until we prove otherwise. Hopefully we beat Miami right out of the gate or maybe we can send our gymnastics team to kick their gymnastics teams ass
You're right that NIL plays a big part in the college recruiting landscape now. But we are top 20 in NIL budget as of last year. We can't use that as an excuse when all other teams have to deal with the same thing and we are better prepared than most.
We are competing against many teams that are in the top ten though. Most of the top spenders are in the sec. If we finish in the order we spend, where do you think we will end up in the sec? 6? ?8 pretty average.
Anyone who carries Napiers water like this needs to change their name to Bobby Boucher. Folks can paint the picture however they like. The fact of the matter is that those in power has given Billy everything he's asked for and more. Another losing season and he won't be here. They won't be pumping more money into a lost cause. Do we all want to see a winning season...of course! Every single gator fan would love to see Billy beat Miami, beat Georgia, beat FSU. What they don't want to do is sit and hear more excuses if we have a third straight losing season.
We won’t beat Georgia and might beat fsu and Miami either of which we have no idea how good they are. We were the youngest team in the country last year and will still be very inexperienced this uear. No coach is winning 10 games with this roster. Sure , if we are 5-7 he goes but that may happen no matter how good of a job he does. There could just be seven rosters on our schedule that are clearly superior to ours. We will see starting with Miami. Are they a top ten team or the underachieving squad we’ve seen for twenty years.

Agree if those #'s are real. These NIL Collectives are private organizations. They have no obligation to share information at all, much less accurate information. You think it might be in a NIL group's best interest to inflate their "reported" numbers a bit to generate more interest from recruits to their University?
