I hope so. She has an unbelievably amount of pressure on her because of her past. Also, her at bats are not productive outs. Make that pitcher earn her outs.

Re: Lorenz vs Wallace. If you are not incorporating fielding into the comparison, you're doing it wrong. Wallace is the most valuable from that perspective.

Re: Playing Mia. I'm glad Tim consistently gave Reagan PT in her first couple of years. Gotten better each year. Hopefully Mia does the same.

Lorenz was also very good defensively. The thing Lorenz has above Wallace was thst she was extremely clutch and a Gator her whole career. Wallace is jsut a good they are just different type players. Personally I would always take Lorenz with game on the line over literally anyone so that's not a knock on Wallace she would probably be my second pick honestly.

Putting aside whose shoe's are biggest, I think we can all agree that Skyler's shoes are enormous.

It's going to be difficult to fill them next year. Sometimes I think we're a year off sync. Just when our freshmen pitchers will be a season older and hitting their stride next year, they won't have Skyler's bat anymore, or defensive play at SS.

I agree with that. Several times over the years actually.

Thankfully as gator softball fans we’ve been blessed with so many incredibly talented players over the years. Skylar is beyond amazing and one more in a long long list of Gator Greats. She’s not the first or last that we will talk about being irreplaceable. However someone has and always will step up and create their own new Gator legacy!

Wasn't Lorenz at 1b primarily? I don't dispute she did a good job there defensively, but SS is a whole other thing. There is a reason many coaches would put a paltry hitting SS in the lineup with superior defensive skills over a better hitting/weak defensively type player. I don't dispute the clutch factor with Lorenz.

Amanda played primarily in left field, but moved to first base later in her career.

Agree - Some of these freshmen will improve dramatically between this year and next, plus many people are foregtting about the really great group of 5 we have coming in this year's signing class. Wallace, Kistler, Goelz, Goddard and Wilkie will move on after this year, but I think next year's team will be even better.

She went to 1B to give her a better chance of making the National Team with versatility.

You know it's not a personal attack. Mia Williams had another error tonight that you couldn't have rolled any more perfectly to her. No one even brought it up out of fear that you'd take it as a personal attack.
