I’m hoping Sully he is watching to see who continues to fight and play hard. Not seeing enough of that lately for sure

 

The year before last we showed plenty of fight. They went 16-5 in the last 21 heading into the tournament. And even though they lost in the Regionals, they completed and had guys stepping up with big time performances.

 

Nope, just BB’s and HBP’s—that way the hitters don’t have to produce.

 

Don't think that's accurate. Think everyone has said something is wrong with this team. As a program we've still won 16 of our last 19 SEC series, which dates back to the 2022 season.

Another way to frame it as LSU has lost as many SEC series this year as we have in the last year and a half.

lol..from a couch, and knee jerk? I have coached Football and baseball for some 32 years now. Where have I said get rid of Sully, I think a change in philosophys is needed. Sometimes you get to set in your ways, we can not play small ball. That has been known now for a good number years, our pitching staffs used to be rich and deep. Now we have what 4 or 5 guys that we can depend on. What is failing us?

FSU has scored 45 runs in a 3 game series that’s not yet complete. The Mizzou and FSU series don’t bode well for the Gators 2024 future.
I can’t recall a season that was looked so forward to melting like an ice cream cone on a Gainesville sidewalk in June.

 

Real take? How are we even ranked right now?

 

Small ball and change in philosophy needed. We have 1-2 decent hitters on our team. FSU has 7/8. Pitching wise we think we can challenge guys inside with 91. Can’t, maybe 94-95 or maybe after living on the outer half.

I’ve said it several times we need to start recruiting kids that are pesky, persistent, and understand how to make contact. Cags hits line drives but not anyone else I can think of.

 

I don’t know if the fat lady is singing or not but she does sound kinda hoarse…….
