This sweep by Mizzou, which had not won a SEC game before the Gators came to town, may be the low point of Sully’s Gator coaching career. An absolutely abysmal 3 day collapse.
As well as no hitting and spotty pitching there does not appear to be any lesders stepping up when things go bad for this team. An underperforming group that was very fortunate to win two out of three in the first three SEC series.
Mentality of this team is bad. Their swings are so over the top. Everyone tries to hit a hr instead of level contact swings. Bases loaded and you can’t score a run is ridiculous.
100% missing Nesbitt, Prevesk and others. WOW!!!!!!! Not much else to say. Those 2 alone change things.
Headlines coming..... Miserable in Missouri, Gators get Exposed Sorry folks, it is what it is. This team has far more issues than just hitting, pitching, and defense. There's a disconnect here that is obvious.
Missing our ERA guy Nesbitt big time. I’d take Prevesk all day long. Concerned about the mentality as a little bit of cold weather complaint through our guys off that really worries me at a higher level
At this point sit the older vet guys and let’s get some freshman or younger guys some playing time as the vet guys that start aren’t getting much done, mine as well take the lumps and growing pans. Feels like a season defining series in the sense do we respond or just collapse further.
Lol, 3 Nesbitt posts in a row. You just have to face reality at some juncture....Nesbitt is like the 11th or 12 arm for UCF and his era is still over 8
A really good wake up call. Lets see what happens. Sully is the best in the business. Kids have to hit and they have to pitch and they have to field. Sully puts them in the right place IMO.
Yup, challenge becomes we lost great young players that transfer players like Prevesk. Kid was a future star.
