Sounds like my laughing at your post got you right in the feels. I bet you're going to accuse me of being a rival fan next. This board sounds like every other sports message board I have frequented when a team is climbing uphill. Sports fans are emotional. It's not a conspiracy, but believe what you want to believe. It's just amusing.
Unfortunately for some, being negative is not a choice. The offense clearly improved in the second half of last season, and if the Defense also improves this year and we are solid on both sides of the line of scrimmage, then we would be crazy not to support coach Napier considering the dumper fire he took over and all of the other positive things he is doing for the program. Now, this is a result driven business and it will be his third season, so he must show some solid improvements and the results will decide the future, and not some silly negative poster on a message board. The overly negative post only hurt the perception of the team and does not help in any way.
You honestly don’t believe some posters here are trolls - fans of a rival school, who are here solely to promote negativity about the Gators?

Fans from other schools don't need to bring us down. Our coaching staff has done that all by themselves.
Posters who think that social media (including negative posting on other teams message boards), isn't taken advantage of by most teams army of people is, IMO, naive or in denial..
Posters on this board have little impact, if any at all. Social Media? Probably. Players and recruits communicating among themselves? Probably. Negative recruiting by staffs? Certainly.
I'm positive that football season is going to be very interesting for Gator fans. Not sure how it's going to play out and, of course, I'm hopeful for a successful season with a brutal schedule, but who knows how it will work out? Meanwhile, I'm focused on our gymnastics team going to the NCAA Championships, our Lacrosse team on a 12 game winning streak and our softball team surprising everyone with 2 freshman pitchers leading us to a 34-6, 9-3 start to the season. It's great to be a Florida Gator!!!
I'd bet my car that no kids UF football is looking to bring on as seasonal employees for football this year have ever visited a discussion forum. Now, if you're talking about 20 second video ramblings you'd be correct, as for some reason young people have decided that random people they don't know recording short videos of themselves ranting about subjects they aren't knowledgeable of is life changing stuff. Anyways the season could go either way, but Sunbelt Billy will be paid as if he was a top performer again. Hopefully he earns it this year.
