Our hitters look lost right now. They need to wake up.

 

lay off rise ball. crap swings.

 

Extremely tight strike zone isn't helping matters.

 

Ava is a nibbler pitcher. She can't overpower hitters so she mixes about 4 different pitches and has to hit the corners to be effective. Very advanced for a freshman, although not as much as Rothrock, but will just get better and better over the next 3 years.

 

then we get the girl from Bartow next year who I think might be the best pitcher of the bunch
this team is so young and can be so good

 

Ariel has been really struggling at the plate.

 

Way to battle back Ava. Kept her cool and worked her way to a scoreless inning.

 

All the freshman are hitting a bit of a wall at the plate

 

Pulling Lynch felt like overcoaching by Beth. She gave up a couple hits but still looked effective to me.

 

Brown is hanging in there, but yeah, as teams are getting to watch film on them they're figuring out how to pitch to them. Still love this group. Kistler has been struggling with the bat lately as well. She's due for a big hit.
