I still have my reservation in Omaha...BUT, I can cancel anytime. 2 Runs allowed on wild pitches...YIKES! Worst moment? One out triple and can't get him in. Adult beverages help. Takes a run of wins now to get a regional. At least softball came from behind.

Regardless if we end up hosting, what's Sully to do with Cags? If you hold him to pitch until game 3 we might not make it that far. If he pitches game 1 now he needs rest but would probably DH the next day. Its win or go home in the post season so some players better figure it out cause Cags can't win them all for us. Hope we don't face another Dallas Baptist in our future. I know one thing, thing coming weekend with Carolina coming to town is going to be a challenge.

 

You have to have at least a .500 record to make the post season, right? Looking at our schedule the rest of the way and the way we're playing, that's not a sure thing. 24 games left and we're only 17-13. Lots of baseball to be played, but they had better get it together soon or things could go sideways really fast.

 

Debated this same thing for a while as you can’t wait to pitch your true #1. Wait, might be too late.
