    There are at least 4 different softball rankings, I'm just using D1 Softball here. LSU is 30-4, 8-4 in the SEC. Florida is 32-5, 7-2 in the SEC. LSU is ranked #6, Florida #10. LSU is #4 in RPI, Florida #19. LSU is #2 in Diamond Sports Ranking (DSR), Florida #9. LSU's SOS is #11, OOC SOS #45. Florida's SOS is #54, OOC SOS #136.

    Pitching. The pressure will be on Rothrock because that will decide the game. We're gonna put up runs, we always do. The obvious question is whether we can hold down LSU's runs. Go Gators!

    In SEC games only, Florida is 3rd in team BA at .302, LSU is 4th at .293. Florida is 7th in team ERA at 3.88, LSU is 3rd at 2.70. We are 8th in fielding at .964, LSU is 7th at .965.

    The ump squeezed the strike zone on Rothrock in the top of the 1st, but she pitched her way out of it.

    Only started watching since top of the 2nd. Man this ump is inconsistent so far. UF has not gotten the ball out of the infield that I've seen.

    Ump has an inconsistent strike zone, but both pitchers are battling through it. My concern is that Rothrock throws a lot of rise balls, leaqding to balls in the air. I'm worried 1 or 2 of them might eventually go over the fence. Their pitcher mixes speeds and relies on her drop ball, leading to a lot of grounders. We need to figure out a way to scrape a run or two soon and put pressure on them.
