Make no mistake about it. This is a Palestinian Holocaust perpetrated by the Far Right Wing of the Zionist Government.

The Zionists want the real estate of Gaza. Please don't get me started on all of the illegal settlements in the West Bank that Israel has (illegally and greedily) given the permits for. Ugly, dispicable and totally hypocritical.
Did I mention that the UN has long called these "Jewish settlements" in the West Bank as being "highly illegal?"

Its in nutty yahoo’s interest to extend the slaughter as long as possible. The moment a ceasefire is achieved he’s getting the boot by decent Israeli’s and shortly after that he’ll be back under threat of imprisonment due to his corruption. Parallels to Trump.

Well, I guess I am making a mistake about it then. If Israel wanted to wipe the Palestinians out they could have done that on day 1 of the war.
This cycle of the ongoing conflict being the point of discussion, Palestinians attacked Israel, Israel had every right to respond, and there is no easy way to fight rebels hiding in the midst of 2 million people.

Killing over 30,000 civilians, with estimates of 70% of those being women and children, with no foreseeable end in sight, and causing the impending starvation of 1 to 1.5 MILLION people, is not an appropriate response to a terrorist attack.

It is a campaign of WAR CRIMES.

We (the west) have a (small) bit of a leash on them otherwise they might. The death count would certainly be much much higher if not.

I agree with some of what you said here. But, Palestinians didn't attack israel, it was savage Hamas assholes that did that. This is an important distinction.

Netanyahu has already thumbed his nose at the US by stating israel was going forward with the fish shoot in Rafah.

Awful that Biden doesn't hold israel responsible and continues to give them weapons. Why doesn't israel buy these US weapons? Why do we give them the weapons as aid? israel is a wealthy country.

Of course, if Trump comes in to power, he will give the go-ahead for israel to use nukes on Gaza most likely.

Hamas is the government of Gaza, largely elected. Not only that, a recent poll says they have 90 percent support. So it’s kind of hard to separate the 2.

This is such flawed reasoning as a rationale for slaughtering a whole bunch of people. Let me one up you, bro. Gaza had 2,000,000 residents. United States has 330,000,000+ residents. (i.e. 165 times more). 31,000 dead Gazans from Israel's slaughter. 31,000 x 165 = 5,115,000. Now imagine a country bombs the United States into oblivion and kills 5,115,000 Americans.. you see what I did there?

Putting this on par with a terrorist attack that kills 54,000 Americans is a false equivalence. Israel is Israel, America is America. Logistically, without a nuclear warhead, it is simply much harder to off 54,000 people in one day than it is 1,700. (or whatever the real number is). When you have to make these tragically flawed justifications for your war on Gaza, it proves how desensitized you are to blood-thirst and violence. By your logic, anything Israel wants to do is needed and justified.

If any other nation were acting this way would it make difference in our response?

Not really. The last election was in 2006, when the majority of current Palestinians in Gaza weren't even old enough to vote. I'm pretty sure Hamas refuses to hold new elections. You're statement above is not entirely accurate.

    No.

(below from December, '23. Do you have something more current?)

At the same time, 44% in the West Bank said they supported Hamas, up from just 12% in September. In Gaza, the militants enjoyed 42% support, up slightly from 38% three months ago.

Palestinian poll shows a rise in Hamas support and close to 90% wanting US-backed Abbas to resign

So the Israeli invasion has increased support for Hamas? In addition to killing over 30,000 civilians, largely women and children? Hardly an effective operation, no?

I think an increase in the “support for Hamas” is really just underscoring their anger with Israel for their disproportional response. Israel is doing exactly what Hamas wanted them to do. Extremely disappointing.

Just saw on CNN that Israel is floating an excuse that they use AI in targeting innocent civilians. Didn’t specifically say it was used in this instance but it’s a clear trial balloon.

    Cretins…

No they don't. You keep making up stuff. Not a good look. Glad you are admitting the terrorists have more than their share of blame LOL.

Nah, not at all, keyboard killer.

We all respect your hardcore internet persona, but the "Herf derf!! You oppose killing civilians in Gaza because you rilly luv terrorists!" shtick is way past its sell date.

Please have something new and better if you respond to me.

Israel has blockaded their maritime access for the better part of two decades, which means they control what can and can’t go out, and took operational control of Gaza harbor fully at the start of the war.
Look, if you want to keep arguing on the margins of what I’m saying because you can’t refute the underlying premise, have at it. But if that’s where we are, my point was more than made, I’ll leave it to others. Have fun.
