Let's talk Nolies. Their 4th leading scorer is hitting the portal, and thus: "With the loss of Corhen, FSU has now lost four of their five leading scorers from last season. Jamir Watkins, who led FSU with 15.6 points per game, has yet to make a public decision about next season."

More: "He becomes the sixth player to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, joining guards Primo Spears and Tom House, as well as forwards De'Ante Green, Baba Miller, and Waka Mbatch. FSU is also losing guards Josh Nickelberry, Darin Green Jr., and Cam'Ron Fletcher (expected) to eligibility, as well as forward Jaylan Gainey."

So 4 graduated, 6 are transferring, and the leader is wavering.

Just a quick editorial note here, France. When writing about FSU, always put "graduated" in quotation marks.

Dug McDaniel committed to Kansas State. If Ques Glover is healthy and wants to play another year of college basketball, he should enter the portal. If I am the Gators, I would take him in a heartbeat.

Wouldn’t THAT be the ultimate turn around if Q was to come back and lead the gators to greater heights ?

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet, or maybe it has. A wing player I would've thought we'd be eyeing by now is Jordan Derkack. He was far and away the best player on the floor when we played Merrimack. He won't ask for a million dollars like these other kids, and he played through a fractured foot and torn ligaments this season. He plays elite perimeter defense and can play multiple positions. Good sized athlete and attacks the rim aggressively. POY in his conference. I think him at the 2 (or 3 if Clayton stays) would be a huge asset.

Our top options based on needs are rim protectors and someone to handle PG duties.
C: Clifford Omorruyi is an obvious take. Amari Williams may be the most realistic take.
PG: I'm seeing that we're hosting JP Pegues. This would be the ideal prospect. Someone else mentioning Glover must be doing it as some kind of April Fools joke. Kid was a walking turnover for us.

At what point do people stop with the crap about Glover being a walking turnover. Glover was great after he left UF, including against high quality teams. Maybe, we should have tossed Noah and Taurean Green out of the program after their freshman years.

    1. He didn't even play last season. We don't even know what his injury status is. So there's that.
    2. Plenty of players play better once they transfer. That "great play" in a lower conference doesn't mean that they're suited to play SEC basketball, much less start. They transferred to a lower school for a reason.
    3. Define great? He averaged 15 shots per game in his most successful season at Southern. He's barely 6 feet tall (that must be him on his tippy toes). He doesn't have any definite strength to speak of. At no point did I look at him and go "just another year of development and he should be an asset". Noah and Green had a noticeable talents. But what a joke lol. To reach that far to include Noah and Green in the same sentence as arguably the worst player I've ever seen at UF. I'm wondering if you're just a really devoted troll.

JP Pegues would be great. 88% FT shooter and 2.3/1 assist/turnover ration. Arizona State's Frankie Collins has the Gators in his final 6. Collins would thrive in Golden's system. Kid plays superb defense and averaged 2.6 steals per game at ASU. But he also averaged 2.7 turnovers per game and struggles with FT shooting. That said, he can really get up and down the court.

JP looks good to me! Not ideal size but I like the way he plays and he's confident to take the big shots.

We won't ever fill Pullin's shoes but I like the idea of getting an elite defender at the PG position. He must be pretty aggressive to average 14 ppg with mediocre FT and 3pt shooting.

Most will probably remember him hitting the 25 footer to knock Virginia out of the tournament last year. Good player, already visited USCe and Auburn
