You obviously don’t interact with any older Cubans or many Venezuelans.

Sidenote: Florida’s state legislature is generally considered one of the most conservative in the nation.

Again, I'm going to need you to elaborate beyond random comments of faux shock or judgment if you want to have a discussion about this.

A key part of the GOP strategy for Florida in 2020 and beyond has been connecting the Democratic party to the Socialist dictatorships of Cuba and South America, which resonated with 1st (and to a lesser extent) 2nd generation Americans who immigrated from those countries. That strategy proved very successful in 2020.

here, med is a good bit cheaper b/c most of the tax is waived. The doc visit (free when i got a card) & fee was negligible. I would say, once rec is taxed, it will be more in Fla too.

Honestly I suspect the federal legal limbo of marijuana’s status is the big thing that adds value to having recreational. There are a fair number of people who, for one reason or another, would prefer not to be on the state’s nicely maintained list of people who are committing a federal crime.

Its thought there will be a larger turnout to vote against the pending stringent abortion law along with another group wanting marijuana legal. And of those voters a higher percentage will vote dem.

What if you don't want to lie to the doctor? I haven't seen the associated forms, but I suspect some of them are signed under penalty of perjury.

And it will continue to be successful. Many of these people and their parents/grandparents have already bought the bag of manure in Cuba and Venezuela that the democrats are selling here.

Almost all of the Cubans that I grew up here in Orlando had parents and grandparents that loathed Castro and everything he stood for.

And we haven’t even started with the discussion on what the socialists have done to Venezuela.

Not seeing how this explains your “wow just wow” comment. You haven’t said anything to contradict what he posted. Why the shock?

A lot of things we think we know about how Hillary ran a poor campaign are not actually accurate in proper context

If you go the quack Dr. route, you are paying the Dr. to be evaluated, which is typically over $100, and you pay the state a charge for the card to, which is another $125. The card is good for a year, but you have to get reevaluated every 8 months or something, so you go trough 1-2 evals and one card fee a year. And then there is whatever you spend on weed, which isnt cheap either. I cant see how that would be less expensive than just going to a dispensary and cutting out the charges you get hit with to get a card, unless they like double the cost of weed under recreational or something.

I think Florida is important enough that you can never ignore it as a Republican.

We should've learned our lesson from 2020 Georgia. And if you were to have asked me my confidence in Trump winning Georgia in 2020 (before the 2020 election), I didn't even think Georgia was on the table in 2020.

Florida doesn't FEEL like a swing state anymore, but motivate people to show up to the polls who typically never show up or care about elections and crazy things happen.

It's not the typical voter that concerns me about Florida. It's the ones who need marijuana and abortion on the ballot to show up that concern me.

The whole abortion issue is a huge problem for R's. Been saying it since the SC over ruled RoeVWade. This will make FL a much tougher state for Trump to win in 24 with abortion on the ballot. So dumb that the R's did this to themselves. They will continue to pay at the polls.

I'm amused this got "funny" from 4 right wing posters. I said it had a slim chance and was just pointing out what the Biden campaign said. Not sure why it's funny but whatever, I guess.

The problem for Democrats in Florida, is what other Democrat states look like.

Can't quite pin it down, but at some point, California became a four letter word.

..and Chicago, Boston, Philly, Minneapolis and NYC, among others (and by extension, their host states), are continuously and conspicuously making news as horrific places to live...and they're all Democrat strongholds.

It's the Title (notwithstanding whatever you may have posted in your OP).

Your 'funnies' are I presume, directed at the notion that Doh! Biden is going to flip FLA.

That's just about funny right there....

Of course I can only speak for my funny rating.
