Nice. I went to one years ago near Cocoa or the Cape but I don't believe they do it anymore. Looked similar.

 

Last time NC State went to the Final Four was 1983. And we all know how that turned out. Something tells me Valvano’s ghost is hovering…..

 

NC State and UF alumnus. I’m tickled with Wolfpack reaching Final Four. Sincerely doubt NCSU can beat Purdue and I’d kinda like Purdue to win a close one because I think they have the best chance of beating UConn and they’ve never won a championship. What I love about my team is they seem to be having fun and there’s not enough of that in sports anymore.

 

I’d gladly take an NC State title. #1 is no Bama. #2 is no UCONN. NC State or Purdue, I’m good with that.

 

We could've beat any team that Bama has beaten. Period. We literally took them to the woodshed. Don't get caught up in the number seeds (1,2,3 etc) and look at the matchups. The teams Bama played, they match up well with. We are a better version of Bama imo. So I think if we had their slate, we would made it as well. Especially with a healthy Micah. Yea Im sorry but I totally disagree.

 

The last time Purdue was in the Final Four was 1980 with Joe Barry Carroll and Keith Edmonson starring.

 

…..we gave up 102 to Colorado

We had a far easier path than Bama.

 

Colorado was a top 25 team per KenPom and the NET Rankings. College of Charleston was 97th, Grand Canyon was 50th. The team we played in the round of 64 was substantially tougher by every metric than the one Bama played in their first 2 games.

 

Gotta beat whoever they put in front of us.

If Alabama can get there, with this team, UF can also. Only wish I felt the same on the football side too.

Yeap, I feel had we got past them we would have been rolling to the Final Four.

 

We clearly would have won the national title if we weren’t given Colorado as our first round opponent.
