Agreed. But it does expose--as if people didn't know this already--how biased WaPo is. Why do they care about a women's basketball coach in Louseyanna? Just some reporter with an agenda for some reason.
Her response tells the story. She is a control freak. It doesn't seem surprising to me that she freaked out over someone else controlling the narrative even when it was nothing more than a re-hash of facts anyone could have put together.
She is the highest paid women’s coach trying to repeat as national champion. Clearly from this thread, people care. Why do people trash journalists? The “biased” complaints are really tired. It’s just become knee-jerk.
The bias complaints have been well-earned by the media, but this piece doesn't seem to fit the bill. He wrote about the biggest publicity hound in all of Women's basketball. What other personality would he write about to get so many clicks. The funny thing is, I guarantee his article gets read by way more ppl than it ever would have if Mulkey wouldn't have run her yap about it before it was printed.
WAPO is a national paper. She is a national and very vocal national sports figure. It makes perfect sense the paper would have an interest.
Why do we care about that coach? There's a thread here, it's 2 pages and you took the time to open, read and post on it....for that women's basketball coach in Louisiana. Seems fairly obvious there is interest
She ran out on the floor during play to call a timeout. Should've been a T, IMO. Unfortunately, LSU looking strong
They won't call one on her in most cases. In the title game last year she was on the court countless times, in the ref's face all night long, and rarely in the box--nothing was called! A review later by the NCAA deemed it it to be a subpar officiated game.
Mulkey been outcoached pretty much all night tonight. Her girls were not ready for the pace Iowa has played at. They started getting tired in the 2nd quarter. Missed a ton of layups
Thank you Iowa for sending that trailer park tramp Mulkey and that trash congregation of hers home !!!
Iowa keeps having major tv audiences! Friday and Sunday could be huge--especially if it is them vs SC in the final on Sunday. The real question is can someone come along to replace CC and Reese to help draw the crowds in the future? Can the player from USC have that appeal?
