No, I think our lack of receiver depth has made us nostalgic and direct our hope at him.

He's just getting used to his position in college, and speed was never his weakness.

His dad claimed he runs a sub 4.4. Hard to say since Mertz can't throw it deep enough to hit a 4.4 receiver in stride.

McCray has the highest ceiling on the team.

IF Devin Moore can stay healthy, it would be his first injury-free season. He has the potential to be great, but having the injury-prone bug, it seems highly unlikely. But, I hope to hell he proves me wrong! Go Gators and Go Devin--just do it!!!

I'm very skeptical of that from what I've see on the field. I would be surprised if he is any faster than his Father was in college. That being said, that would be plenty fast enough.

Saw this on YouTube. Apparently, he's been doing conditioning work, and it will pay off for him. If he can stay healthy, I will feel better about the secondary.

Trey was a highly rated player and he more than will exceed his hype by the time his career is over. Elite.

Jakeem Jackson has all the physical tools to be our best corner here in a long time. Hopefully the coaching staff is good enough to get that out of him

He's a really nice #2 or #3 WR, with some surprising dexterity on the awkward/difficult catch for a player his size. But a 4.3 forty sure sounds like a stretch, and that's putting it mildly.

Sure hasn't translated into functional playing speed. Has made fabulous catches but hasn't seemed to get great separation.

I'm still enchanted by our fun and gun years. Not surprisingly I'm looking forward to bringing more speed to the receiving corp. I can't help but believe that Mizell, Andy Jean, TJ Abrams and mini Tank all have big play written all over them and Wilson probably has the highest ceiling of all of them.

I'm reminded of the couple of years McSharky had all the stars align when he had/brought in Calaway, Swain, Cleveland, Hammond and others, all in rapid succession. The new talent that has landed at WR over the last two years may yet prove to be even better in terms of speed and athleticism than that really good group was. Like everyone, I'm looking at the 12 lb. weight gain for Mizel and the intriguing potential Jean seems to be showing and I'm getting a little high on hopium. Boardingham looks like a real SEC FB player and the guys behind him have some starts and some degree of talent. A couple of guys need to step up and solidify the TE room behind Boardingham. I'll finish by saying, if, if, if, if, if, if, if.

Endless ifs but that’s half the fun of sports. How do these teams matchup? Who will win the point of attack? What are keys to game. It’s always speculation until it happens.

I was listening to Corry "Silk" Knowles and I agree with his take. Florida has a ton of playmakers. The coaches have got to figure out how to get them the ball. I realize Andy Jean is struggling with hamstring injuries. But, regardless, when he gets healthy Florida has got to figure out a way to get him into the rotation. Andy Jean is a Van Jefferson. So, why would you want to see him ride the pine again?

Add Aaron Gates to the list. Billy was also talking him up.

I think it would be an enormous lift for the Florida offense is some of the speedy first and second year receivers were able to make a splash this year as Wilson did last. Tank has a similar skill set. Mizell could potentially really stretch the defense and catch some deep balls. Jean was thought of as the precocious skilled route runner with some nice YAC potential. All could make a big difference when that shows up on Saturdays.
