This isn’t a complaint about iPhone’s technical abilities, as I am sure this same issue exists on Android based phones. On the Apple News app there are literally 4 or 5 headlines a day pushed to the top that are regurgitated Trump hit pieces. Is there any method of mitigating some of the incessant propaganda on droid phones? Many articles are [insert actor's name] thinks Trump is a bad person. Useless propaganda. Even if I hated Trump, I’d be like “ok I get the point. You want me to hate Trump. Can I get some real news now?”

Is there any way to mitigate this?

I have a google pixel and I don't have that. But MSN on my desktop hates Trump.

Usually it gives you an option like "want more news like this" or whatever and you can better curate what it sends you. I only get updates on sports teams I like and literally nothing else. I'm sure there's something in your settings you can adjust too.

I need to look into it. What are your sports feeds, if you don't mind? Free is preferable. I always get hit with an ask to subscribe to SI half the time, but that's probably a symptom of my news feed settings also.

I honestly don't know. It's whatever notification android sends me. It's got that little news icon thing and when I look at my notification settings it usually says something like

"Billy Napier admits to blowing clock management"

    Or something like that

Not sure if you're referring to the same thing, but my iPhone gives me little pop ups called Apple News Top Stories. Based on my settings, my phone won't vibrate or make noise unless someone calls me, but these news alerts make a little sound, and I have been meaning to try to find a way to disable them since I'm a news junkie and don't need them. The most recent ones I got related to the following: Supreme Court - abortion pill case; the Baltimore Bridge; and (today) the news about Sam Bankman-Fried's sentence.

So apprently it looks like it's linked to stuff you Google. So if you Google a lot of political shit that's probably why you're getting them.

Look up "android Google News notifications" and it tells you how to adjust

I think if you frequent THFSG they just assume you are a Trump hater and will buy any tainted BS they send your way.

I believe it compiles your searches and is programmed to show the articles your history shows you have interest.

Keep going to the Breitbart "black crime" section as well as Daily Stormer and you will get the "news" you desire.

Dumbass Trump trying to jack everyone’s dough with King Lee Greenwood Edition bibles and the 10/$1 “irregular” factory malfunction hats.

All he needs to do to complete the coup is to buy whatever cheap ass phone China is otherwise throwing in their own rivers that is already restricted to Trumpaganda like OAN, Newsmax, Truth Social (just go ahead and flush that turd, Elon has held up his end by destroying Twitter via converting it into a MegaChan), the .wins, Q Alerts, etc. Back to the days of the AOL idea, except somehow even crappier.

TBF, getting $60 for a public domain book and a physical copy of song lyrics also free to the public is impressive in its own right. But getting $1500 from maybe $10 while also cutting the members off from do-gooder knowitalls like “doctors” and “loved ones” is Game Over.

Where is, what did someone call him, “Almost a Genius” Eric when you need someone to think outside the bubble??

It's the Top Stories widget that comes up when you swipe left from the home screen. I just swiped left, two out of the five headlines I see are Trump hit pieces. Both from Politico.

"Trump has lots to say about everything - except the Baltimore bridge collapse."

"Trump attacks daughter of judge overseeing hush money case."

I have an iPhone, so you'd think iOS would be resistant to Google. Not so much. And guys, I'm more likely to Google something like "Katie Britt in a bikini" than I am "Trump Derangement Syndrome." I suppose Google and thus Apple could make the same assumptions though.

On the Trump hit pieces, I never open them. So it has to be their algorithm telling them I'm a supporter and they're trying to outsmart me. lolz

Can you show us where the black crime section (you're blatantly LYING about) is at Breitbart? That would be like looking for the "you should be ashamed of being White section of the New York Times"
