Hey O and B, Trattenburg is said to be tasked with making another "Prey" movie.

Which of course is based on the "Predator"
    theme.

I enjoyed Prey immensely and look forward to the coming addition.

Not to belabor the point but short of the original I found "Prey" to be the second best in the series.
    In many ways superior.

The acting, directing and cinementography is terrific.

I just finished 3 Body Problem on the Netflix.
    It was pretty good Sci-Fi.

I can report that the sequel was much better than the first one. Some outstanding creative gore and an actual plot. And good news, the ending sets up for a 3rd addition.

We checked this one out. Thanks. Maybe not a romcom exactly, but it was pretty fun. And included lots of WTH moments, lol.

I was extremely underwhelmed, but my expectations were super jacked.

I didn’t find the books revelatory either, but like a lot of SF I felt like there were enough super cool undercooked ideas that skilled TV writers could glam it up. But just ain’t feeling it. I find one of the main characters so unlikeable that I am almost rooting for her demise. I don’t think they are going for the Succession model here.

Constellation same way. Super cool fundamentals, but what are we doing? I am fairly certain that the message I got after 8 episodes was the exact opposite of the intended one.

Of course the problems with both shows may very well be me. A 2 Emmitto Show Problem.

Foundation is the one I am digging. A couple of rogue plot lines but for the most part it is equal parts spectacle, palace intrigue, and coherent long game. Even Lee Pace almost laughing out loud overdoing it is pretty fun.

    The Lost Boys (1987)
Watched it with my teenager the other night and I thought it held up fairly well.
Not really a vampire fan, but this one is pretty good.

She and her friend really enjoyed it.
The ending was worthy of a small discussion.
    I really like that ending.

It was entertaining and OK but I didn’t think of it again after I walked out. The 70’s outfit, hair, and mannerism rocked but wasn’t overly scary. I think it was an indictment of media doing anything for ratings but not sure.

Not a movie but a series...I'm a couple episodes into this (I'm watching on Prime) and pretty entertaining so far.

    Fallout (TV Series 2024– ) ⭐ 8.7 | Action, Adventure, Drama

In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.

    ***

    Featured Review:

Fallout is even better than I expected. It's up there as one of the best video game adaptations ever. Fallout takes pace a couple hundred years after a nuclear apocalypse and people have to live in underground bunkers to protect themselves. There is a world going on above full of radiation that's created mutants and a lawless society full of evil people and violence. All the people living in these underground communities are forced to come up and live. Ella Purcell stars as Lucy, one of the people who's never been above ground before and wasn't prepared for the lawless society it has become. One of the most underrated actors ever in Walton Goggins steals the show once again as a mutant bandit. This series is just flat out awesome.

Only 3 episodes in and I would agree so far. Also spot on captured the game tone. Several panoramic scenes were so close to the game's look and feeling that I had flashbacks playing it in my basement. I was dreading the Borderland movie.. but maybe it will be ok as the last few game inspired shows have been solid.
