Silly Thread but Sunbiz

So is this a silly thread about sunBiz, or a thread about silly sunBiz?

 

Wait what? You are a small business owner? An actual capitalist? Isn’t that a terms of service violation to your membership in the Karl Marx club?

 

I’m curious. What kind of business does an avowed anti-capitalist own?

I have to file an annual report in California for a company that’s registered there as a foreign corporation. It is $25 a year. Ohio has no filing requirement and therefore no fee at all.

 

You aren't really a capitalist unless you are hiring and commanding labor. If you've ever incorporated anything including a non-profit entity, you have to use Sunbiz, file your annual report, etc.

 

Or even something like a rental property as an LLC ...

 

Yeah, we even have to do an annual report for our HOA since its incorporated

 

first a personal accountability rant and now small business involvement. I smell a rat.

 

Speaking of, my CPA just told me this is something we have to do now. BOI filings with the fed. Sounds identical to sunbiz.
