Maybe if he would have “used his talent,” we would have won more games. I was never impressed with his play while he was here. Good riddance
Might have something to do with a brand new coordinator combined with a head coach who was doing two jobs instead of coaching up his junior staff members. Next comes the players training at ghfc.
Clearly Nape agrees with him and made moves accordingly. Now… what that says about Napier mgmt or what the offense may look like with less off season moves… remains to be seen but clearly Napier saw the same thing. Pretty sad
Part of me feels he is justifying why he did nothing at UF and trying to boost his status. The other part hopes what he is saying is not true "for the love of God". Mainly he just needs to shut his mouth and focus on getting better and proving it on the field.
Maybe some truth to it but the dude flat out overran and subsequently made a one arm tackle attempt on 4th down that would have ended the arkansas game. The guy got better at setting the edge his last year but still got upfield too far at times so clearly he was being taught to set the edge but also continued to overrun plays....
Pretty hard to refute his account of the situation given performance and staff turnover. Still comes off as bitter.
He's making stuff up for the room. His words are meaningless drivel. But, I guess it gives him someone to blame for having to come back to college for another year.
