Well, I guess it's time for us to put up or shut up. If this isn't allowed then please delete. tspotfund
We can't cry about "Blue-bloods" paying their players if we don't step up when we have an opportunity. This is pretty important with the portal opening up right now.
Has anyone heard about somnething called "Tip A Player" where people watching a live game can actually give the player money? Tell me this isn't really a thing...please.
how much is the wifey letting you contribute? I suggested adding FV to our will, but my wifey nixed that idea
I'm liquidating everything for cash, placing it all on a single bet in Vegas, winning that, and then contributing it all to Gator NIL. Who will join me?
It's only cool if we can also subtract money. Have a good dunk? Here's $5. Have a bad turnover? Gimme back my $5 But yeah, there's a reason you don't see me active on this board really anymore. College sports don't move the needle much for me anymore.
There is absolutely no room here for shadiness that will follow its way to the pros even. lol. It’s official. We are all dumb idiots. Race, creed or religion doesn’t matter. We are all morons bumping into each other.
I laughed; I cried. Kidding aside- I was talking to my buddy after we lost. I calculated that the current landscape has zapped about 60% of my interest/passion for college sports. This is the first year since 1992 that I didn’t go to Gainesville for a home game. I also passed on attending the SECt.
Fans made college sports what it is. Can we unmake it or will ad revenue continue to feed the networks even if we disappear?
More people will talk about a boycott than participate in one. To stop the tv money, you’ll have to cancel anything with espn, really espn/disney.
This is true. Fwiw- I am not boycotting. I’ve just lost a lot of the fan passion… and with that, my motivation to travel to games and tourneys I once attended for 25+ straight years.
