As I said in the post above. His family is loaded though so I doubt a little extra money would be as important to him as learning to play qb. He has time to learn and his mama doesn’t need a house.

Manning will go somewhere else to play if not the starter for Texas in 2025. Agree he will sit this year behind starter. Only an injury away from playing.

And he can go pro after starting one year but doesn’t really need to like most kids would. He can take his time and learn.

I watched some film on Manning from 23 and I'm not as certain as you that he will be going to the NFL anytime soon.
I like the Mannings and Archie in particular (I ran into him in NOLA a couple of times, a very nice man) but all I have seen out
of young manning is the hype machine in overdrive. IMO kid still has to prove he has the goods.

Of course he does but we’ve seen him a little as a true freshman.

What little film I saw was pretty bad however I realize it was probably not representative of what he can do.

I dislike Texas, so I won't be pulling for him.

I’m kinda indifferent to Texas but I’ll hate them soon enough too.

This seems like a $$$$$ issue to me. They had a huge recruiting weekend and I believed they flipped a DL from UGA as well.

yep to both of these posts. I believe we just have to keep recruiting him and keep getting him on campus. This isn’t over with imo

What's going on with Keon Young? Is it true that he committed to UF and we didn.t accept his commitment?

Yeah this came out of nowhere. UF been in the driver seat and out of the blue USC gets his commitment. Smh. He'll walk back the commitment IMO. Cali a long ways from home and his other top schools were Miami and FSU, so he did not have a ton of choice schools he was considering out of state
