How soon does TG know who will stay and who will go of those who are eligible to play next year? What do players do in the mean time, do they remain in training at UF? I assume coaches continue to recruit and scout for prospective transfers. I would hope TG looks to improve the D side of the ball but I have full confidence that UF is in good hands with this coach.
From what I've read in the football forums regarding NIL relocations is that the back room maneuvering goes on BEFORE the season ends. I just assume that it's the same in BB and some players, maybe on the Gators, that are already deciding or have decided to jump. But I'm no expert and have no inside info.
Exit interviews probably this week sometime. Last year, Reeves, Lane, and Jitoboh all went into the portal the week after the season ended. Golden had his post season presser 8 days after the game. I would expect to start hearing names this week.
I have it from a reliable source that Reeves, Lane and Jitoboh will not be returning to UF. Changing the subject, are any former Gators playing in the NCAA Tournament this year?
After much thought and reflection and prayer about my situation and the possibilities the portal may bring, I'm happy to report that I'm staying. I'm all Gator. I'm hearing a collective sigh of relief from NBN.
