Cags is showing that he might be a legit two way MLB player. He now pitches instead of throwing, his fielding is very good and we know what he can do with the bat.

 

I know Ben McDonald & Kyle Peterson were talking about how his defense and hitting were major league ready now, but that to get his pitching to that level will take more time to develop. With the vast improvement over last year on the mound, I'd think he's grown a lot in just a few months and it depends on which team drafts him and what they want to do with him. But what a player.

I thought what KP said about him was a huge compliment on his growth. He said last year when things went bad they went really bad. This year he has pitched through those issues like the walks today. The oppo bomb after getting buzzed was what every baseball player dreams of.

I like Robertson in the lineup. He got off to a great start and then slumped some, but is still hitting .268 I think. And Garrison got 2 hits. He actually started that 6 run inning with a base hit if I remember right.

 

Wow, getting run ruled on your home field must be the hardest loss to take. Screw LSU and all their crazy fans.
