Yes, you lose your license for a year for refusing the field sobriety test, but you can appeal. If the cop doesn’t show up to the license hearing, you can skate and never lose the license. If he didn’t perform any of the field tests, and didn’t give a blood or breath sample, it will be hard to get a dui conviction as the state has no evidence.
Karma is a B! At least he wasn’t drag racing like those previous GA DA’s. He will likely get out of it with a high priced scumbag lawyer.
You didn't play for Georgia, I'm guessing? BTW, I was being facetious. I called it Smart, but it was flat-out dumb!
In Fla, u r in the pokey for at least 8 hrs on a DUI charge. Might be the difference between arrest and booking time
Is there a stat that correlates arrests to championship ratio? There should be … Napiers players seem to stay outta trouble… which worries me for the ‘24 season All kidding aside…. Young kids do dumb stuff. Glad nobody was hurt. (ALSO - see - HA-HA)
It’s also dumb to be driving at all. With all the resources these kids have, they still do stupid shit. Me and my wife do not drink and drive, at all. Not one drink. If we’re driving ourselves, one of us simply does not drink. If we’re going to a concert or something where both of us want to drink, we make other arrangements. If we can make it happen with our resources, kids like etienne certainly can too.
Definitely would have to be uber, lyft, or something other than the uga staff that’s actually paid to handle it. Get in a car with one of their staff late at night and you might end up dead in a drunken street race.
I dd a lot. We also get hotels within walking distance of our venues depending on how far we are from home.
Smart and UGA found out at the start of spring he could not pass block and will use this to reduce his NIL.
