We won't, too big a problem. We might, however, take certain measures to limit the bloodshed.

Very few people on here ever call for outright gun bans. As for protecting yourself, good luck. Maybe you can sleep with a loaded gun at your bedside; your prerogative. Most responsible gun owners, however, have their guns locked in a safe or otherwise inaccessible. More likely that children will get hold of it, etc.

Well, not surprising but not good either. I can’t think of a reason to put out such an obvious BS story (Ukraine colluding with ISIS) unless it’s a pretext to use a nuke, which would be a very dangerous escalation indeed.

I don't think Putin is dumb enough to bring a nuke into the equation unless he wants thr entire world agains him.

Let me answer by asking a question. Do you think a dictator came to power all by himself or were the civilians enabling those in power?

I don't wish violence, but the universe will give you what you feed it. Until Russia isn't hell bent on blowing us up in a thermonuclear explosion, they are the enemy, every single one of them.

I think the civilians, esp. in a communist nation, have very little power or influence. No, the dictator did not come to power by himself, but the existing systems of power which did not favor the civilians, supported that dictatorship. Glad you don't wish violence, but you suggested that the victims deserved this, which is absurd.

You’re not wrong. The Russophiles would immediately blame the U.S. for a horrid false-flag attack until Putin admitted it and/or the forensics of the fallout indicated it could only be Russian … then they’ll talk about what a genius, justified move it was.

Eh, saying that is believing dreamliners assertion that Putin's 90% approval by Russians is legitimate. Dictators gonna dictate statistics. Not sure how many legitimately voted for putin to rule them.

Putin is a punk that will take this opportunity to kill more innocent people in the Ukraine. That's how that ex-KGB scum works.

I certainly hope you are correct about that. Not even Putin is that dumb?

One would hope Putin is not delusional or stupid enough to think he can somehow prevail in a nuclear war, and that he is not suicidal. He would have launched by now. The russkies rattle that nuke saber at pretty much everything, hoping it will intimidate the west into leaving Urkaine out to dry. That said, the next few decades may be interesting to say the least as it pertains to Russia and the rest of Europe.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Ukraine played a role in carrying out the attack. Either by direct intervention or by way of aiding and abetting the terrorists. I'm not sure why so many of you act like it's implausible. You need to get out more. Do you really think the Russians blew up their own pipeline in 2022?

Sweden closes probe into explosions on Nord Stream pipelines, saying it doesn't have jurisdiction

“There might be a good reason for not going out with a conclusion,” Øhlenschlæger Buhl said. “Sweden stands in a sensitive position as it wants to join NATO and may not want to rock the boat further.”

Now does it justify Russia using nuclear weapons? Of course, it doesn't.

These kinda terrorists are looking for the most extreme response. They chose right in going after a little emotional midget like Putin. & from what I’ve seen only emotionally damaged people support him

This is whataboutism argument, and I think it has no relation to the issue of ISIS terrorism. I’m not a fan of Russian leadership, but that doesn’t make me happy it cheer the murder of innocent lives inflicted by a global terrorist network (and one that would just as soon murder Americans as Russians).

That’s a fresh take. Opposing the stoppage of war is a manifestation of a love for life. (And let’s not forget how many innocent lives your Russia murders every single day).

All fairly clearly being leveraged to increase their operations against Ukraine.

Terrorism is a terrible thing. Piggy backing on it to push your own agenda is up there with it.

Latest update - 137 lives lost. @rivergator, do you want to change the thread title? Maybe update the number or don't even include a number if that's more appropriate.

That you have to insult people who have just been attacked by terrorists says it all.
