We’ve got RH hitters swinging at sliders from RH Earl that are bouncing in the dirt at the LH batter’s box……Got to have a plan.
The difference between their number one and our number one… Able to reach back and go get Big strikeouts when he needs them. Holman is a definite filthy Friday night guy and again I’d like to see Mikey as a lefty in the lineup over guy… You simply cannot go down there
Guy is overmatched. Sully did a poor job in managing Fabian and Prevask last season. Both would be starters in LF and 3B this year.
Yep, at some point, maybe a year or two from now all of the noncontact at that we’ve had the last several years will be broken down and there will be a push to start making contact or at least it will be brought up as “ relative/important”. @74nole often brings up pitching over velocity and he is 100% correct but I wonder why the same is not valued with regards to contact over swinging for the fences… Cayson point a guy that hits one homer but strikes out three times is definitely not worth or valued as much as a guy that has four singles. And I take that from one of the best hitters there ever was who said it many times Pete rose
yeah, not so sure about Fabian but I definitely agree with you about Prevesk. That being said I think Mikey has much more value than Prevesk due to his defensive potential. I would also say Mikey has improved quite a bit on hitting the offspeed pitch whereas the rest of our team cannot seem to hit a curveball
