We argued, we laughed, we cried... and now the Gators 2024 basketball season is at an end. We fight like brothers and sisters sometimes, but I appreciate all of you and thanks for sharing the season with me. Let's do it again next year!
Tough ending but it feels like the program is headed in the right direction for the first time in years. Most fun team to watch in a long time too
This team had holes but sure a big step forward and made watching the games a joy again VS a period of loyalty yet chore like. Right direction under Golden.
Great second season. This tournament shows how many good teams can lose in one game setting. Let's get some good players to run it back and play defense next year. Go Gators.
So happy to see the program on the right track with a really good, young coach. Still things to learn and grow from, yet it definitely makes you feel the excitement to look forward to the next season.
Copying from the game thread.. Well everyone, it's been a fun season but with a tragic ending the last two games. I've certainly enjoyed watching this team more than any we have had since 2014. If we pick up a top flight PG and big man in the portal and improve our defense and everyone who is eligible comes back, we should compete for the SEC title and a high seed in the tournament. Here is to next year!
Really enjoyed this team and their growth. Tough one today, but great year. Team really gelled and seem like great guys. Looking forward to the future
It's been a fun season, largely due to the folks here on the 'Net board. Thanks y'all. I've always found this board to be a more intimate community of mostly level-headed Gator fans. Sad to see the season end this way, but it was a fun season. Just about time to cancel the streaming service for about 5 months. I'll be watching free stuff on a digital antennae. Maybe read some books and def play some music.

Make that a physical, big, tough guy that can score and defend. When you wait for three point shooters to hit every thing they throw up, then you better make them all.
Well put Murph. My sentiments exactly. I’m sure there’s gonna be some naysayers out there, but I had a fun positive experience from this year‘s team. I think they deserve nothing but praise. Yeah we got beat by a very hot team tonight. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Looking forward to next year at years beyond. I think we have the foundation for a building program. Go gators!
