Colorado would have beaten probably anyone today.

Let’s be honest, our defense kind of helped the cause. But yes Colorado shot incredibly well.

From the eye test, our defense looked about what normal 3 point defense looks like in any game in any night across America. I don't know what games you guys watch, but it's not like teams play lockdown perimeter defense on every possession. Credit Colorado with making their shots at a higher clip than usual. It happens.

Team played tentatively inside I thought, which was due to Micah being out

Todd needs to address defense though. This isn’t the NBA

    3-point defense?

18 of their 102 points came from the arc. That was not the defense I was referring to.

Playing hundred point games in 40 minutes. There's a price to pay when your offense is your defense. Maybe its just this years team but I hope CTG can find a mix or balance that ends more favorable going forward.

So much for being a Final Four team this season.

Will the player who made that claim be back next season?

I mean if I wasn’t under 6 foot I would have shot over 50% vs Florida today. They had a zillion uncontested shots at the rim.

Not true. We were efficient on offense, that’s why we scored a lot. We don’t play at a ridiculous pace. If we were an awful offensive team we’d just lose 90-60.

That's what I was thinking. Perimeter defense had nothing to do with the defense we played, not sure what some people were watching. They only took 10 threes, but had about 30 made layups.

Was Tim Donaghy reffing our game tonight?! Atrocious officiating!

They shot 33 FTs to our 22. We actually hit a higher %, but combined with lousy defense we did well to be close.

It felt like the Swindle in the Swamp tonight!

It feels a lot more like a Todd not having a backup plan when they beat us off the dribble for layups on about 12 straight possessions than it does anything else. No zone, no trap, almost no doubles, no help offs, just the same bad defensive straight up man over and over and over. And then getting a T which ended up being the 2 points difference in the game.
He will grow from it, and this year was too much fun to wallow in anything tonight, but you saw a relatively inexperienced coach tonight.
