What should be the key adjustments in the second half? Thoughts?

 

I know we scored 45, but our offense has been a bit out of sync since early in the game.

The lack of fouls we have down low now is effecting us defensively, and CO has been taking advantage of it.

 

I think we are tentative defensively cause of the fouls the refs are calling-

 

Run run run then run some more. We’ve had four days of rest. They’ve had like one day. We need to run them into the ground.

 

Have to keep our bigs out of foul trouble. The CU big guy is a load and can draw cheap fouls.

 

got to find a way to defend all those picks and screens they are running

Agree CU field goal percentage in the first half with 61%! That’s unacceptable.

 

They key to the second half will be not turning the ball over. Can't give away possessions. Make then earn it.

As I see it, Samuel & Clayton have two fouls each - so got to watch that going forward.

For Colorado, only one player has two fouls - their bench player, F: Cody Williams.

Colorado has two players with 9 points:
PG: KJ Simpson (2A, 2 TO) & F: da Silva.
And two more players with 8 points:
C: Lampkin & G: Hadley.

Florida's leading scorer is Richard but he also has 3 TO's.

Florida needs to guard the interior post better. Samuels will have to pick his time to be more aggressive on the defensive end.

I don't understand the double team with Clayton. All it does is expose us defensively.
