Funny, but this guy is yelling about stuff and trying to look smart. He was complaining about UK not defending on some shots when the UK player had a hand in the shooter's face and contested the shot as good as you can without fouling but the other guy made a great shot. The way he nitpicked plays, it's almost as if he thinks you can coach your way into winning a game 100-0, committing no fouls, no turnovers, 50 steals and 80 rebounds. All this stuff he's saying is not really bad coaching... maybe the other team was just better than you. I'm no Calipari fan or apologist, but the way I see it Oakland's players were better than UK's players, period. UF's players, IMO are better than UK's players. Coaching isn't going to bridge that gap. Now... there is an argument that the Coach is the roster architect, so it's ultimately on him/her. I agree with that argument, but that's not what this guy is saying. I'd love to see this "expert" yeller coach UK for a season and see how well he does. As a player, I hate these micro dissections of the game from nerds with a telestrator. The game happens in real time, not stop and pause, rewind, and forward. That's why some players get to D1 and then to the Pros. They just play the game better.
Unlike our SEC brethren, we have not been over-rated all year. We will get our due if we take care of business...especially under adversity.
Nah I questioned some of his commentary as well. Definitely not "wide open" on some of those shots. I posted it with another post that got deleted, because of language I'm sure, to show how their fans were melting down. Since you know, only florida fans have meltdowns.

It dosent make us look any better win or lose. All you should care about if UF wins. I really don’t think it’s is a good idea to pull for your rivals winning so they can out recruit you on kids and make their school look better than yours. At this point I don’t even care as long as there is a change. It has to be a complete change. It has to be someone that puts UK first instead of fielding an nba farm team. The thing that burns my ass is we will lose many to the NBA that have no business there and can’t even guard a player on a heater that looks like Chandler Bing.
With playoff in football and tournament in basketball, all we have to do is get in and win. Don't care about the rep of the SEC. Every team in the SEC despises us and the feeling is mutual for me. Every since I saw those southern fried frat boys show up at games in their suits in 95 deg weather, it has been so for me.

Kentucky is now a verb As in: Colorado is no joke and I hope we don't get Kentuckyed... or... Let's not Kentucky ourselves. I'm nervous fellas, but it really depends on which team shows up today. Colorado is going to fight like hell. I think I said a few days ago that we were the more athletic and taller team, but I take it back. Colorado is dangerous and needs to be respected.

Well he has a point. Kentucky's bench is rated higher than our starters, most starters in the SEC. It's the best money can buy. Calipari is supposed to be the Sith Master when it comes to the one-and-done roster. The portal is his source of his force. Yet, here they are, very pedestrian. No heart, but they are very young. Oakland is very experienced and usually experience trumps youth when it comes to the tourney.
