Russia isn't concerned with taking territory at this point. They just want to continue decimating Ukraine,:s military. Only 15% of Russia's forces are in Ukraine, btw.

Yeah, how convenient. They aren’t “concerned with” something they do not have the physical ability to accomplish.

Old war adage: why go to your enemy when your enemy comes to you to be destroyed.

Notable that the armchair generals here have watched the war, for over two years, and STILL not picked up on Russia’s penchant for attritional warfare.

By decimating Ukraine's military, it was so diabolically clever to lose about 30% of their own active military.
Vatnik is a constant amusement here. LOL

Signs point to Russia just getting started as the West is petering out.

Putin wins with 87.12% of the vote. And out of the 12.88% he didn’t get, I’d wager that a goodly portion were Russians exasperated with Putin that he’s not going hard enough in Ukraine.

Never mind Putin, Russians are on a war footing.

How convenient of the marginal reporter to not remember that Crimea does not legally belong to Russia. It was taken by military force only 10 years ago. Short memories do serve as a safety measure in Russia. Lots of dangerous balconies there.

This is a good video on where the war currently stands. It takes about 15 minutes if you play it at 1.5 speed.

Crimes was given to Ukraine by Krushchev in 1954. The transfer was not 100© legal but forget about that. Crimes is much more ",Russian" than "Ulrainian." After the democratically elected Yanukovich was removed with help from the US in 2014, Crimes voted to become part of the Russian Federation. The Russian Federation approved and that's that..

Russia acquired Crimes the same way America got Texan. Texans voted to become part of the US. Congress approved and our military was used to keep it.

I'm visually impaired but I did correct about 5 words. It's not worth it to get everything perfect. As long as you get my main points.

Russia has been on "active defense" in Ukraine. They now are transitioning to offensive operations. Zelensky will be removef one way or another and Russia will take over all areas where there is a significant Russian population. To what extent neofascist elements in the center and western parts of Zultainr will be liquidated remains to be seen.

This video is from The Duran, the #1 foreign policy podcast in the English-speaking world .

From Bernard at the great blog Moon of Alabama:

"The US has urged Ukraine to halt attacks on Russia’s energy infrastructure, warning the drone strikes risk driving up global oil prices and provoking retaliation, according to three people familiar with the discussions.

The repeated warnings from Washington were delivered to senior officials at Ukraine’s state security service, the SBU, and its military intelligence directorate, known as the GUR, the people told the Financial Times."
    https://www.moonofalabama.org/2024/03/russia-is-at-war-.html#more

What's happening now could have easily been prevented but the Biden administration wanted war.

Sorry Vatnik you forgot the part about Russian troops invading and taking Crimea before the phony elections. You are in trouble back home now, Vatnik, since you just stated: "Russia acquired Crimes the same way America got Texan". Ever hear of the Mexican-American War? Oops that's exactly what Russia did to get Crimea----war. Don't get on any balconies for a while.

Your problem is not that people don't "get" your points. The issue is no one accepts them as accurate and truthful.

A little overdue “terrorism” hits Moscow..

Riot Police Evacuating People From Large Moscow Concert Hall

Several gunmen opened fire on concertgoers at major venue in Moscow, Russia, according to multiple reports. Footage posted online purportedly showed the gunman, clad in military fatigues and toting rifles, shooting inside Crocus City Hall on the western edge of Moscow. Other videos showed the venue ablaze.
