I replayed my recording also to see what happened. Saw the same the same thing Bradass did. After the transition play by Auburn was completed and the camera went back to Micah, I saw there was some blood on his leg, but not a lot. Hopefully, that's a good sign of other things in the leg not being damaged, but I guess compound fracture is correct.

Castleton went out last year on a fluke play where his hand got hit. I think he broke his hand or wrist? The Gators have had their share.

I doubt it can happen, but it sure would be awesome if we could get Micah to the game in Indianapolis. Nashville's a 4-hour drive. What an emotional uplift for the team that would be if he were there to cheer them on.

yes. The SEC rule allows a player to play up to 30% of a season and still redshirt.

Shimmy loses the redshirt if he plays.

Ok, but can we at least pull a Diggstown, where he walks up to the scorers table, looks at the opposing players right in the eye, and then walks out?

I’m definitely feeling the sadness. I am gutted. We had and were doing some special things. Still can but it’s going to take an extraordinary effort to overcome not having our starting center. Our defensive anchor. Time for all the guys to nut up and play better. If they can tighten those shoe strings a little tighter and realize they gotta be better than they have been can still make a good run into next weekend. They gotta reach deep and find out who they really are.

We still have some great pieces and a really good coach.

    GO GATORS!!

I had a great friend and former domestic pro bike racer riding buddy that thanked me for all my efforts in making his old UF undergrad degree more prestigious.

I started at UF as an assistant prof in 1982 and saw the potential. That was one reason I took that job instead of some others.

FYI… my men’s league team had round 1 of the playoffs tonight. Three players were traveling and wouldn’t make it so without me we only had four eligible players. Because I’m an idiot, I played tonight to give us a full starting five. 2/4 from three point land, 2/2 FT, 3 steals in 40 minutes of playing on a bum knee. We won a nail biter by 1 point.

Lacked my normal explosiveness, but overall the knee held up pretty good. Voltaren topical cream (diclofenac) is a miracle worker!

It was a massive loss. He was why we were one of the best offensive rebounding team in the country. It was the one advantage that got us to the tourney. Also, don't complain about refs because refs can't shoot FTs. We rank No. 225 in free throw percentage on the season, and while we greatly improved as the season went on, the spurts of inconsistency are still there. The issue is Samuel, shoots 56% for the season. Massive issue is he is 2nd on the team in attempts, he gets fouled a lot.

We will rally around Alex Condon and play good football.
